I am thinking maybe we should find a BIG house to rent or something like that.......  We hardly get to spend much time together and if we were all in the same house and sharing rooms that way it would be much cozier and closer together. ....  I LOVE the camping trip dont get me wrong, you all have made it something I will continue to do with my kids, but after the storns we had this year and not being able to see much of each other, I got to thinking it might be a nice thing to try next year, if we dont like it we can always do the Sugar Creek thing the following year. let me know what you all think.........Love ya guys and MISS ALL OF YOU TERRIBLY...........

How about Gatlinberg Tennessee, they have BIG Chalets we can Rent, I went to the website and looked it up and they have some pretty large chalets and we can all stay in one together....pool tables tv kitchens, some have 5 bathrooms.its just a thought.....let me know what you all think

Indoor bathrooms....YES! LOL No more tree peeing in the middle of the dark rainy night. And it would be in a new place so more things to see. Not sure if I could make it or not. Maybe if it was after the first week of June I could. But indoor cooking would be nice too. I'm sorry but I found out after this year I am just not much of a camper unless good weather is guaranteed!

Well I guess I found out that about me also, I love the fresh air and the campfire and sitting around it and talking but some of them have a Pool, a Pool Table, a Hot Tub.......should I go on.................

Lucky, I think it is a great idea - I think I even told Pali that when she mentioned it. I love Gatlinburg and maybe we would get more people that way.
And I agree with Sign, it needs to be a little later in the year.

Lisa you don't know how hard some of us tried to get more guys there. I went to who's online to Indiana and emailed a bunch of men I didn't know and tried to get them interested. They weren't.
Lucky how much does one of those big chalets cost?

The cost is different form how many days to what time of the year, I think that the more people we have then the less it will be, the problem is we will be sharing rooms and beds...........lol........I dont mind sleeping with someone as long as I have a body pillow between us....  ...........I think that it is worth a shot to see how many people would actualy be interested in it.......maybe take a POLL......

We have houseboats for rent down here. The biggest sleeps 10 and costs about $2000 for a week end. I know that's expensive but I thought something like that would be fun! And if we had 10 people it would be about $200 each, not including the getting here part. But still, I doubt we'd ever find something as cheap as what we had at Up the Creek. I may even be able to be talked into one more there if it was later in June and better weather almost guaranteed! Well, almost talked into it! LOL
