I immensely enjoy meeting and making friends on here. This is one of the best personals sites I have been on.
It seems though that people are having a problem with honesty. Why come on here to find your true love with lies? Do you really think it will work out when it begins with a lie? I have lied in my life, but I have learned from those lies. Once you become honest with yourself, it is easy to be honest with others. I have made a vow to never lie, even if it hurts someone, just use tact.
I want to find my partner in life on here because I think there are some very nice men on here. But I am going to be very cautious, I have already found two men that lied to me. I received an email from a female on here that warned me about another man. Now that is pathetic, and I'm not saying only men lie. But I'm not looking for a woman. So men are who I talk to.
Please think about what you write in an email. Is it something that you can live up to without regrets or more lies? Remember there is a "real" person on the receiving end of that email.
Be kind to others and above all use your honesty to find your partner in life.

How honest am I? ... Well, that depends; "Does this dress make me look fat?" ... "How does my new hairstyle look?" ... "Does she look better than me?" ... etc.. I am old enough to know that being happy, is more important than being right ... and the correct answer is not always the truth.

This is kinda off track but we are all out here looking....
Total honesty...(telling all) cannot be done nor expected nor is not absolutely necessary, especially when its in the past...The PAST...we can only effect the present and future, thats all folks..I really get burned when I am bugged about things that I have no way of changing......

I believe in being as honest as I can about myself. I don't hide my physical appearance from anyone. I am a queen-sized woman with short, dark brown hair and blue eyes. I am also a widow with three children who mean the world to me. I cannot see the point of hiding who I really am---physically and emotionally. I appreciate it if the man I seek is the same way. Being honest about myself spares me the pain of rejection. I have experienced it in the past and it hurts.

Honesty is such a gray area in life.....truth is that one person cannot be the end all to your world or you can't expect them to bow down at your feet to worship you especially if you aren't acting lady like in your life. I tell people the truth about myself and my life because it saves on trying to remember all the lies that I've told. If a person doesn't like me for me then I don't need them in my life. Life isn't all this happily ever after stuff and no one is going to be 100% truthful with anyone in thier lives. So, in answer to your question Loving I'm at times brutally honest but others I will tell as much of the truth as I can while sparing a person's feelings. That honest enough for you????

well if you can not be honest with yourself then you can't be honest with others. i tell it how i see it and if others don't like what i have to say then don't ask me. i feel honesty is better than lieing. you have to cover up for the lie you did and that is not always easy.
