I don't feel I "deserve" anything just because I was born a woman and neither should a man feel he "deserves" anything. In a relationship we must give respect to receive it. Of course we all want the best, but simply stating that you want the best does not assure you will receive it. You must give to receive the best. Demanding will get you nothing. I think very highly of myself but I also don't mind being submissive to my mate, as long as it works both ways. In a relationship with mutual feelings one doesn't keep a book as to how many times one or the other was submissive,,it's just a wonderful ebb and flow of the relationship that makes it so fabulous for both parties involved. Just to pamper and adore the one you love with complete devotion will get you the best!!

Upbeat....this deserves repeating... Get out of Dodge (or get the hell out of Dodge) has been a catch phrase for so long I don't remember when I first heard it...we computer geeks (the old ones anyway) actually name exit routines GOOD occasionally (for Get Out Of Dodge)...it's not even close to being personal!!

upbeatgal brought up a point i have ignored. as we have grown up we have learned to do and accept life as our family and peers have shown us. just because i know what the word communism means does not mean everyone has actually went and looked up the definition. i was supprised when i saw the definition of communism. i said NO! thats not the way Russia is, thats not the way Cuba is. and then the definition of fascism! bingo, now thats Russia, thats China, N korea and Cuba. so why do so many people keep saying they are communist? anyway, we are rasied a certain way, catholics are different from Mormons, Assembly of God are different from Southern Baptists, but do not each of them claim to be christian? until we actually understand what we are talking about we are no better than the rednecks, the aryan nation, the neonazis, or any group that thinks because some power monger says they are the best they get to claim they are the best. to use a word the holy rollers have adulterated, until the "WORD" enters your mind and spirit, you are no better than those you look down at, actually you could be less, just maybe they have read the "WORD".

Sun.....I'm with you....lets see the stats....they might be very revealing....As I recall...Bo shared one time....his last divorce was sometime near his early 60's...I'm also curious as to his age and his wives ages....at time of marriage....and the length of the marriages......care to enlighten us Bo.?

Just for comparison, I had a pretty "stable" 32 year marriage, a couple "possible, but no cigar" relationships afterward and one absolutely ideal one (that beat most of the odds, being a "soulmate" thingy, but was cut short by death)...
I was just curious as to what worked and what didn't...for him. (Just wondering if there's a "why" behind some underlying bitterness...something that I've recognized in not only poor ol' Bo)
