Hi Forum Users.
I sincerely hope this is the correct sub-forum to post this because none of the headings seems a better fit.
I am used to getting mailorder bride offers from women in Ghana and Russia
and even China - but this one took the whole cake !
PLEASE NOTE: It is important to remember the part between the rows of *s is a REAL
email, BUT IT CAME FROM AN ATTEMPT TO SCAM !
It is posted here as a warning, NOT to solicit or encourage participation in a scam.
OK - on to the details....
So, imagine you are a guy over 40, and single (and most likely way past the point of
merely craving sex), and you get hit on by this amazing looking woman who is younger;
With me so far ? My guess is that most guys have their imaginations WAY into overdrive
when this sort of thing chances their way.
You're over 40, and your would be suitor is what.....18 ?
A (wet) dream come true for so many, right ? But herein lies the problem and the SCAM.
It is NOT true - not at all.
But that's OK, because if you are fortunate enough to have a disposable email address,
you reply to her and get some really great info to share, as follows:

Ok, little more about me. I generally date older guys because they seem to be more
honest and better in bed, but my ex-boy wasn't very honest with me.
I'm 125lbs, 5'6". I like all kinds of music, oldies, rock, I was raised on that (oldies,
rock, some country, blues).
I dated older guys before so I know how to act and not be childish.
When I get dresses up you will think I'm older than 19.
I grew up fast you might say.
I've never been out of Florida and can't wait to see different places.
One of my bi-girlfriends is Lisa.
She is 22 but you wouldn't guess it, she's the one with dark hair in the
pics.
Lisa gets pissy sometimes because she gets carded all the time if she trys
to by alcohol cause she looks so young.
I don't have a hard-line phone at present because of a situation that I'm in
right now.
The computer I use is my sister's and it's hooked to cable.
My cousin comes over in the late afternoon or evening to give me a break from
these kids I babysit for my sister.
I do have a cell phone but I think it has a short in it somewhere,
sometimes it works other times not.
I have to put minutes on it but you can leave a voice mail if I don't answer.

I'm looking for a guy doesn't mind having my bi-girlfriends join in sometimes, hopefully

I'm kind of going through a little set back right now, my apartment burned down a
few months ago, some idiot left a pan on the stove next door, so that cost me a lot
being I didn't have insurance.
I had to move in with my sister and wow is that a bummer!
I only have those four pics, the rest got burned up in the fire.
Like I said, I use my sister's computer now being I lost mine in the fire also,

 Sorry, but this is so transparent that it's worth reading for nothing but the entertainment value. 
I do tend to give the male population, in general, enough credit to recognize this for what it is at first glance  ...hopefully just hitting delete/block, with no response.
If they don't have the brains to recognize it as a canned-scam, they do NOT belong on the internet. Period.

Most of us don't but there's a small minority that can't figure out that most 20 year old women simply don't want a 50 year old balding overweight man. They aren't stupid, just far too full of themselves for their own good.

Emails like that are a dime a dozen on the dating sites. I can't count how many Russian and Chinese women have emailed me.
I'm sure a woman in her 20's and younger would be interested in someone as old as me. Suuuuurrree she would.

I ordered 6 of them and they're coming on the same plane too...probably sisters and cousins. After they paint my house I'm shipping them back MBG. The lowest bid from a painting contractor was around $5500.00, the girls I have coming in will run me about $800 plus paint.

THIS SITE truncated it, so it had to be spread over not 2, but 3 posts in order
to simply share it in its entirety.
The point was to share the whole thing honestly, which would have only taken
ONE post if the site allowed such long posts.
(I didn't write that tome, but I did add a few short comments to it.)

As for the 20 vs. 50 thing - you are right, it should be obvious, but as with all
things there are exceptions.
For instance:
I am not even remotely tempted by such drivel, and have been approached by
women 1/2 my age as paying members of a pay site I am a member at and I
don't even find them attractive - mostly because of their youth and immaturity.
BUT -> I am not yet 50, NOT overweight, NOT balding (not even a bald spot),
and more fit than many 1/2 my age - and have been known to work younger
fellers right into a comatose state and keep going after they are down for the
long count....like I said, there are exceptions to be considered.
On the flip side of that there are some few young women who dislike men in
their own age groups because they are not mature enough for them.

Hagrid, you don't need to make a whole new topic to continue a long post...simply hit "reply" and finish part 2 or 3 there...you can edit the previous posts for "dangling sentences" by hitting the little blue 'edit' pencil in the right hand corner of your post -- you get two hours to make corrections before it's set in stone.
And if it's something written by someone else, you can put the whole thing in a quote box by highlighting the text and hitting "quote"

You'll be labeled now as "shallow", but that will be from upper middle-aged unmotivated women who think that since guys like us are closer to there age, we should over look there deficiencies and accommodate them for their "inner" beauty.
Keep your eyes on the prize... and that's not to say she can't be the same age or even older, but just don't settle for less than the best.
