I am saving myslf for marriage. But doesn't seem like anyone else is doing that. Am I dumb? Will I be setting myself up for disappointment? I don't know any girls left who are saving themselves.
I'd thought it was supposed to be something relaly special. ?

Hmm,dumb isn`t the right word.I wouldn`t want a virgin now and didn`t want one when i was in my 20`s and i sure as hell wouldn`t marry one.

No, you shouldn't. You may find that you don't like women. So, you should sleep with a couple to make sure you're not gay before you settle on any one woman on specific.

... That is a really tough question MrO... The main problem that I can see, is that since you are 26 and apparently, also want a virgin, there are laws here in the states against dating ugly third graders.

I am saving myself for marriage. You're not stupid. It's your own personal decision and if someone tries to lead you away from that, the problem probably lies with them and their personal beliefs...not you.

Whatever works for you. I didn't. I know it's a cliché but you wouldn't buy a car without taking it for a test drive...marriage is a bigger commitment then buying a car. Each to their own.

There are still a lot of people who wait until marriage to have sex. And I mean SEX, not just intercourse. Calling yourself a virgin when you've done everything but put a penis into a vagina is ludicrous.
People aren't cars. You don't test drive people.
The bottom line is that you, Mr. Oriental2, have to do what's right for you. If you're uncomfortable with being physically intimate with someone before you're married, don't do it. If you let someone else - here or in your everyday life - talk you into it, you'll regret the entire experience and it will color your view of the person you were intimate with.

But I do. I prefer testing before buying. But that is just who I am. As I said...each to their own. I was not trying to talk anyone into anything they don't feel comfortable with.
