... I read in a Men's Health magazine, that for every 20 pounds overweight, a man loses 1 inch of phallus. Has a lot to do with poor cardiovascular.
I doubt this is true. In fact, I very much doubt it.

What a load of crap, of course you don't lose one inch for every 20 pounds you go overweight!! LOL
I don't like the term "fat" either, there are much nicer ways to say the same thing without sounding offensive, and yes, before you ask, saying someone is fat IS quite rude and offensive. Of coursxe, if someeone wants to call themselves fat, then that is their choice and is fine, but I won't be doing so unless i want to piss them off.

I always had the biggest crush on John Goodman and Brian Denehey sp? Me too
I think women are much more realistic and forgiving of imperfections than many men are. I'm sure it's much easier being a "fat" guy than a "fat" woman if that's the term you want to use.

well.. I do have a problem dating big men. I'm small, and anyone who is twice my size (regardless of their height) I find a bit intimidating. can't help it - I was assaulted by a large man when I was a kid, and it wasn't fun. Or forgettable.
I know all large men aren't abusers - but the simple fact that a large man could overpower me is a turn-off.
But more practically - I'm very active, running my farm and caring for my horses. I buck a ton of hay every two weeks, and tote a lot of grain weekly. I'm in pretty decent shape for an old broad (actually, in pretty decent shape for a young one) and the differences in lifestyle could be a major obstacle. Yes, a number of my friends are large, but I can't see trying to build a relationship with a large man under these circumstances.

YES I would .I am a equal opportunity dater and have dated men in all shapes and sizes.
As a full figured lady I also oppose the term fat... but are these choices any better?
beefy, big, blimp, brawny, broad, bulging, bulky, bull, burly, butterball, chunky, corpulent cow, distended, dumpy, elephantine, fleshy, gargantuan, gross, heavy, heavyset*, hefty, husky, inflated, jelly-belly, lard, large, meaty, obese, oversize, paunchy, plump, plumpish, ponderous, porcine, portly, potbellied, pudgy roly-poly, rotund, solid, stout, stubby, swollen, thickset, tubby, weighty, whale
Brawny is not a bad one to describe a man .. it sounds so masculine.

my point has already been touched on in other posts here but, we each have a definition of fat. to me it is the morbidly obese person that you have to help out of a chair, who gets winded getting to and from the restrurant (where else would they want to go on a date! ) sweat is a good indicator of a fat person! there are many big, heavy, stout, curvy, big and beautiful, etc yada yada people that are healthy and vibrant. so, jammin don't date gals he has to go into the bathroom to help reach certain areas! ( restrurant was for the borderline obsessive/compulsive types! my lexicon spells it restaurant)

Using Jammin's definition of fat, I wouldn't date someone who was that obese. I'm very physically active and I would want someone who is also physically fit and active regardless of size, but I seem to be more attracted to a guy who has a little too much meat than too little, assuming he's not just right. I don't like bones even on myself, although it looks better. When I'm really skinny and once in a while I am, I may look great, but I prefer the way my body feels with a little more cushioning. It's sexier to me on myself or a man.

I read in a Men's Health magazine, that for every 20 pounds overweight, a man loses 1 inch of phallus. Has a lot to do with poor cardiovascular. Sensual -- you are right. I read that same article somewhere-- don't remember where I read it but I rememebr saying -- wow ---
And as far as fat me --- NO, I won't date a fat man. But I do prefer some meat on his bones. I am 5'3, 130 lbs-- I look stupid with a fat man. I don't like skinny men.
My boyfriend now is 6 foot, 230. He is big but not fat.

So if a guy is 400lbs, he has to have a 20" dick just to stay even? Somehow I don't think so. Whoever wrote that article must have made that up. Or maybe all fat guys are just exceptionally endowed.

lj.... I think big-boned is the proper way to say it. What does big boned have to do with it, if it's hanging all over the place...???
Large, toned and in shape is one thing....but just letting your self go, you know the "dunlap" sorta thing or the sweat till your cloths need the washer and dryer is another. Being very over weight can cause serious health issues, shortens ones life, cause disabilities....a sedentary life style.... And on the Internet...have you ever noticed..those older, out of shape, over weight men ....are usually looking for younger, classier, weight appropriate women..... I sometimes wonder when the last time was, they really looked in the mirror at themselves....

I don't feel size matters, what the person is like and a good heart matters the most to me. If there is a mutual attraction that is even better.

I too read that the more overweight a man is the smaller his stuff is...its not actually smaller its just engulfed with what i like to call fupa...flabby upper penile area. And it is true that if a dude loses weight...his stuff seems to get "bigger"
To the actual question, i usually only go for bigger dudes. I find them just as attractive if not more than some 140lb guy. Most of them have a huge heart to go along with it... they seem to have a much better personality, and they have a sense of humor. I like that i guess.

Well...I would and have dated men that would be considered big...I prefer someone who has a little extra to someone who is on the thinner side. I'm not a small woman by any means and yup..I've got that whole thing about wanting to be with someone that can protect me and make me feel like a woman..a man's man so to speak...but I think it's all based on opinion what you consider "fat". You said that you are 6'4 and 275? My ex was also just about the same size and I didn't consider him fat by any means...he was big but in a healthy, very strong masculine way...not sloppy. He was able to keep up when we went for hikes, walks, whatever...
