Yes, you are supposed to have the balls to ask a woman out on a date and compliment her on occasion.

Yes, you are expected to pay most of the time. Stop whining and be a man and get out your wallet.

Yes, you are expected to let us know how wonderful and pretty and smart we are.

Yes, we want you to have a good time when we go out. We are not an "investment". If you don't like to go out and do things and enjoy yourself with the company of a great woman, then don't ask.

We will put out only when we want to.

If we go out, it may not lead into anything more than a few dates or seeing each other for a few months. It is called dating.

If we seem unsure what we want to do or if we want to continue seeing you, it is usually not that we are playing games. We are a little creeped out by something you did, but want to take into account all the nice things you have done, so we ride the fence trying to decide. We can't commit to falling in love after 2 dates, sorry, but we don't even know you.

If you put us down for fun, even in a sarcastic tone, you will only get the insecure crazy women who can't do/don't know any better. This is why some of you say all women are crazy.

In return:
We usually do most of the cooking and housecleaning after we are in a relationship. We take care of you if you are sick. We do not compete with you like all your buddies, we are a soft place to land. You get the satisfacion of being part of our lives. The nicer you are to us the better the sex will be. We can lighten the heaviest load from your mind with a nice back rub. We are thoughtful and buy little things for you just because. We make your house a home. We are smarter than you and we work harder, so we are a great influence in your life.

Any questions?

Since when did we start going back to the stone age?

I'm sorry...women want to have equality...but yet we aren't willing to share equally in asking men out or complimenting THEM, paying for dates, tell them how wonderful they are, etc., etc., etc.

I have yet to meet a man that didn't share in the housework..wasn't a great cook or at least willing to try and cook, etc.

I also believe we get the satisfaction of having men in our lives...and sex should never, EVER be used as a tool against a man or a woman just to get what you want...hell...you punish yourself when you do that! Now that, IMO is just plain stupidity.

Somebody sounds bitter...and please, use the word "I" not "we" because "we" includes me...and I definitely do not think like you do...

Positively not from that book. That book is about playing games, and I think at least one of the authors is divorced. This is from me reading whiney posts on MD tonight. All from my noggin.

The stone age would have meant that women can be kept as a posession, put out to be worthy, and do what they are told because we are worthless.

My point is that we should not use sex as a bargaining tool, or feel obligated. You read that one wrong.

About the rest, it is not the stone age but is the modern basics.

I'm not gonna say anything in this thread, because even though I'm sure its not directed at me, a lot of the content is blatantly.. oh wait, I'm not saying anything.

Perhaps your modern basics...personally, I want equality...and that means across the board...if you want to be treated that way...that's all good for you...but you should also expect to continue to get less pay than the man that does the same work as you do, to be held back from promotion because you are a woman, to be considered second class, etc.

When you post such things, at least post it as what you want...some of us women do not think like you and do not want others to think that we do.

...but-but-but....I LIKE being a princess! I LIKE being on a pedestal! Better yet, I like being a GODDESS!

I don't WANT to be equal ...I LIKE it where I've been
