Help, how do I know if someone likes me?

I work in a very public place....A vet's office.....and i see many clients a day.
One guy keeps coming in with his snake, saying there is something wrong with his darling.....
I keep getting mixed messages. He smiles at me and ask's me where we stand. I assume he means the snake?
I mean why would he bring in his snake and spend hundreds of dollars on me checking on it?
Do you guy's think he likes me?

Could be a perv......making snake references? Who knows. If he is spending hundreds of dollars just to see you......you got me on that one....

I do think his Boa is very lonely......
Not sure I should ask him out.....I mean do women do that these days?
I would hate to confuse his love for his boa with flirting???

If he asks you if you want to hold his snake........you're in.........be careful which one you reach for till he offers.....then you could casually menition "your kitty"...he might want to see it too.......it could be a pleasurable experience for all........

I like snakes.......the longer the better.....
But I need help .....I need to know if he is spending all this money on me? I mean showing his snake once a week to me......it means so much to me.....

Julia....I think you are looking at it all wrong.....I believe the return visits are at the snake's insistence. I also suspect that it is not you that has peaked the snake's interest, but the specimens the vet keeps back in the small rodent room.
What is wrong with the little "darling" is that he's freekin' hungry and you just happen to be the one at the front desk.
When the gentleman asks where he stands, he is referring to whether their account is still in good standing...it is, after all, the snake's account to which the man has no access to.
I'm so sorry to have to put it to you so bluntly, however, in the long run, you will understand and be quite grateful to yourself for having the ability to have looked at this situation from a different perspective and seen what was actually taking place.

Hmmm.... I tihnk perhaps he likes his snake more than you.. he might also like you, but his snake comes first.

Snakes are easily charmed....Painter is right once they are in the bush they are hard to get out they just want to burrow deeper and deeper.....
