I've been thinking about this, and I've realized that there are two things that I regret in my past most of all. One of them is being too nice to people who didn't deserve basic human decency from me, because they were friends with an SO, and the other is that I wasn't nice enough to the people who deserved it. Thoughts? What do you all regret?

I regret telling my daughter, "It's your hair, hon. I don't care what you do with it."

I regret the *timefactor* Never having enough time to convey my caring thoughts to ones that matter.... I regret that most often then not, time fies, til we realize, another loved one gone.
The haste and waste created by "having to work and provide", leaves little time for what really matters.....

I regret all of the times I used the "if only" segment in my life.. it kept me in my negative path.. I am slowly (this is a work in progress for me and not an easy one) .. replacing my regrets or stumbles or tripups and mistakes with "next time" will be.. "next time" I will...

I'm actually going to have to give a hearty "me, too" to this one; I've been tearing myself up for not having seen my grandfather in the hospital before he died recently.

"No regrets, they don't work, no regrets now, they only hurt" - I think Robbie Williams is right on this one.
What's the point in regrets? We learn from everything we do in life. You've learnt to be nice to those who deserve it and not to bother with those who don't. Who cares if it took you years to fathom it out. The main thing is that you did! Everything happens for a reason.
Sending positive thoughts.

I regret taking him back that summer after I had finally started to see all the great things about myself without him in my life.

Regrets.......just creates negative thoughts, why go there? Look at regrets as a life lesson, those life lessons have made me a better person.
