If you get bored, you can help Violette put her bookcase back together, help Solitaire fix her garage door and help me install a new back door
...or you could head to Arizona and stay warm.
~duh~ I wonder which I'd choose to do if I were you, lol?
heh, it's 17 degrees in Fallon! Downright TROPICAL! We're "the oasis" in the desert, yanno

Well, since you live in Nevada and its the best time of year to beat the heat if i were you I would drive out to the Grand Canyon, hire a mule to take you down to the bottom, camp overnight and have that mule haul you back out. I dont know if your much of an outdoors fan but a trip like that will sure make you one.

I went last year in January and the temperature at the bottom where you camp is about 20 degrees warmer than at the top.

Well, today we barely broke 50, but it's supposed to be high 60's tomorrow and back in the 70's for the weekend. Another one of our northeastern coworkers just relocated...we're blaming him for this cold snap. He MUST have brought it with him.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
And Jankia's right...the canyon's a lot warmer at the bottom, it's just getting there that's chilly!

Take the time to find out how to do something you have always wanted to do. That may mean visiting a school where you want to take a class, actually enrolling in a workshop, getting some new books on a subject, or even calling a pro and seeing if you can job shadow on something fun.
For a day trip, I like aquariums.
Make some recipes and freeze them.
