Me, I eat like a bird....a pelican
What's the sense of taking a woman out for dinner if she hardly eats what's on her plate?

LOL robo!!
If I am hungry, which I probably will be if I know its a dinner date, I will eat most anything I like, but spagetti...lol. If I have known him awhile, then I won't mind if I drop food everywhere.

I hope she eats like a Grizzily Bear during the Salmon run because I do. I do have manners when necessary but hey I think food makes most people more comfertable esspecially when they have a satisfied tummy. I don't know about women but I get nervous and jittery when I'm hungry.

I am not a big eater, surprising looking at my size, but I do eat until I get full. I almost always have to get a to go box when I do go out to eat because the portions are too big. Of course my son is my "date" right now.

I eat what i like. But I have to admit when I go out to eat I usually always have some sort of salad .Not a little side salad, but a cobb salad or something like this.I`ll have this even when i take my kids out to eat so i guess i am being myself.

Is there really anyone anymore who doesn't go ahead and eat the amount they want when on a date? If I'm hungry, I'm gonna EAT. I guess for me, there are more important things to obsess over!

I don't see the point in ordering just a salad or whatever, but I know for like...first dates or situations where I'm nervous/excited I don't eat a lot.
Not because I'm scared of looking like a pig or something, but just nerves make me lose my appetite, even if I was starving going in. I'll still order whatever I want to eat, but if I'm nervous I definitely won't be able to finish it.

My biggest irritation is with women that order a regular meal (and most of the portions are huge nowadays), only eat a quarter of it, then refuse to take the leftovers home. I hate wasting food because I grew up with the "clean your plate, don't you know people are starving somewhere" argument. If you KNOW you're not a big eater, order a la carte or a take home the leftover for another meal.

I usually don't eat everything but only because I'm too busy talking. I do take the leftovers home, though, unless it's seafood. I hate the smell of microwaved fish.
Honestly, unless it's the 'white tablecloth' type of restaurant, I'd prefer ordering a couple of appetizers and sharing. It's friendly and fun.

Mo, I'm thinking tapas.
I can't promise not to nibble on fingers, though.

Ok...I always end up playing with my food on a date....I push it around, eat a pea here and there....
Why?
Most of the time I am to busy talking...gesturing with my hands, no time to eat. My food will get cold and I don't like cold food. I do take it home though. Always ask for a doggie bag.
I also think... it is not very sexy to shove forks full of beef in your mouth, eat ribs or have noodles hanging from your chin.
If your going to eat something, I usually order bite sized foods...peas...salads...or fries. I can then place one at a time, sensually between my lips, while I am intently listening to him tell a story...eyes batting...lips grasping around a nice plump juicy tomato...yep...
Sorry folks....I just don't have time to eat..or the mind to...when I am out with a hot date...I always have so much to say and those butterflies in my tummy usually tell me not to eat....
