His name was Michael, lived next door to us. I was 11 or 12...
We lived in Florida, it was always hot and my windows were always open, my bed next to the window.
He used to peek in my bedroom window at night and tell me "don't let the bedbugs bite"
I would lie awake all night thinking about bugs....and kissing him.

His name was Jim and I was in 4th grade he was a friend of my brother's I think 3 years older than I. I was friends with his sister she was a year older than I.. I tried to find him a couple of years ago only to find out he committed suicide about a year before I found a common friend to find him.. This is me always a day late and a dollar short.. Smile

That'd be Sally Joe (believe it or not!) ... met her at my family's summer house in the Hamptons. She lived down the beach in her family's summer home too. First kiss was alone on the beach at sunset. Every single pixel of that image is preserved in my mind forever. Sally Joe...

I was 5 and he was 7. He rode his bicycle down the alley between our houses and yelled at me saying "Hi, Sweetiepie" when I was playing outside with my dolls. I would get mad and go into the house, but I secretly liked it. He got off his bicycle one day and came to my yard and gave me a kiss. I gave him a piece of candy. We moved and that was the end of it until I went out with him after we graduated school. He ended up being my first husband.
