Absolutely. If I don't want him to kiss me, I know how to dodge....

Guess I'm a wimp. I don't even ask or try. The last one just sprung it on me herself.

On a first date, maybe a kiss on the cheek. I guess it would depend on the chemistry.
When it came down to the real deal, I think the man would have been given enough signals to know it was okay for him to move in for the kill.
I have never, ever had a man ask me, and I've done a lot of kissing.

I've had some ask, kinda shyly, and it was sweet. The feeling was already out there, you both knew it... and others most often just went for it. I find it gentlemanly when they ask, not enough real gentlemen left out there. And yes, I do understand some women don't like the old fashioned ways anymore and often times men don't know what to do.

Just take the kiss And when that first kiss happens, I want it to make my knees knock and my eyes roll, make my whole body tremble cause it feels so good and dont want it to stop for 3 days! Leave me breathless. Is this thing on?

"If I have to ask it's not the right time"
As a woman, I agree with this, yet having said that I also appreciate it when a man asks. To me he is anything but a "wimp", he is a gentle man.

I don't believe a man who asks is a wimp. Perhaps this might stem from having felt the moment on his part, but the lady did not and didn't appreciate his "going for it".
With that said, I think we have all been at that kissing station, and trust me, you either feel that chemistry or you don't.
I love it when our eyes connect, that spark happens (you know, the kind that sends ripples up your neck), the blood begins to percolate, and our lips are slightly magnetized and tenderly touch for a little longer than we first thought we would. Gentle, succulent, warm and teasing kisses...

Neither the one who asks or takes it.
Like Motown said, not planned but spontaneous.

Oh, I definitely prefer a man that just takes it. Sometimes, I might not even be sure if I like a guy, so if he asks me first, I might not say yes....but if he reaches over and kisses me, I might find that I really do like him after all thanks to that kiss. That has happened recently. I was thinking about the kiss for hours afterwards....nice!!

Personally, if I were kissed when it wasn't wanted or warranted, the guy wouldn't be up on assault charges. He'd be sucking breakfast from a straw though. I don't like being touched, by anyone, unless I think it's time.
However, for the nonpsychotic general population, I think you know when it's the right time. You just know, and so does he.

That's one of those "depends on the guy, depends on the moment" kinda things.
There have been times when it would have been romantic to be asked. And again, times when I just sat there thinking "Shut Up and Kiss Me!"

I think it kills the mood if a guy has to ask.I have been asked, and felt weird saying "uh..ok.."
Just go in for the kill....a lot of the time, I make the move, it just feels right.

I would be totally turned off if a man asked if he could kiss me. I would much rather he just do it.

I don't believe in asking. If I don't feel sure about if it's appropriate to give the girl a kiss, I MAKE her give me one. I'll give her a hug, and then put my face in front of hers - but I don't kiss her. 90% of the time, she'll kiss me - and then have to excuse herself.
