never looking for something better around the corner...thats just not nice.
I get scared I think thats normal really if we are honest.......but down deep Im ready to be caught.

Good point Painter.....so many are just never sure they have caught the biggest fish in their pond....the best fish...or the prettiest fish....it never ends. they keep fishing, ....on the other side of the boat. There is no foundation, even for real friendship or respect.
Making friends is where it is at for me. Friends can move about as they will. If there is any real chemistry between them, time will help it develop into a closer and closer relationship....until......there is no other need to go "fishing"....time is the key....it reveals everything.....And.....
Someday one of your friends will suddenly become too dear. It is kinda strange how that can happen, sometimes very suddenly too. And because of the time invested, there will be a good foundation on which to build a happy union.
Sounds good on paper anyway.
And I wait and wait....oh yeah....this is Wyoming...I forgot....

But don't you think its like being a tentative and aging rocker? .... You stand at the edge of the stage, pouring out your heart soul, and wishing you could just hurl yourself amidst the crowd, but you fear the crowd either doesn't exist, or refuses to catch you, drawing back and letting you fall... and I, for one, tend to break things when I fall...

I am not afraid of commitment even I think I have the fear of messing things up...not being what the other wants.....not doing things right.
Its not that I have a low self esteem..I feel good about myself..but sometimes the other person has unrealistic expectations...So its a combination of many things. ...I need to sit back and collect my thoughts and reevaluate my feelings about this. Very good question!
