Have the sweet caresses from a man been forgotten?
Women love to be caressed, touched and admired like their the most beautiful thing that the man has set eyes on. We long for these things and not many men will allow themselves to be that exposed to sentimental connections.
I don't understand why showing a little soft interest is a sign of losing control or letting someone in too deep.
Answers, comments?

Ah, shell.... yep.. we of the feminine persuasion long for, desire, want, need, yearn, hope (get the hint?????  ) those caresses... I don't know if or why men would not want to shower us with these.. Lord knows, they lead to so many, many, many (did I say lots???? ) of other fantastic things.. *winkey, winkey, winkey ....like this here------------>  ).. Now, wasn't that easy???? damn straight....

I don't have a problem with caressing a woman. I find it very pleasurable and stimulating, especially if the woman is enjoying the experience. I like exploring every inch of a womans body with my hands. The only limits are the areas the woman deems off limits. For me this can last as long as we both are enjoying the experience, no time limit.

But, but, basic, old, down-home sweet caresses, even if unintended, very often DO kindle more intimate fires within.

I don't believe sweet caresses are forgotten. In fact, one of the sweetest touches I've ever received was fairly recent....he came up behind me as we were discussing something on the computer, and reached out to lift my hair off my back and stroke his fingers through the length of it. I almost melted into a puddle of putty on the chair. It's a moment I doubt I'll ever forget.
Perhaps those basic, old, down-home sweet caresses may unintentionally fan the fires of desire, but I for one most like to receive them without initial intention of lust sated behind them.

How true, nothing like the feeling of out of the blue touching just because they feel the need to touch.
MM, you were right too, it often does lead to that, but to be able to receive and give those kinds of touches without someone expecting it to go there is just the BEST! I think it makes it even better when it does get there, heat those fires all day long until they explode when the time comes.
I best I have ever seen, (never experienced) was my Son-In-Law and my daughter. We were at a restaurant one day and he reached over, covered her face with his hand and slowly slid it down her face. She sat there with her eyes closed with a look of pure bliss on her face, and he was looking at her like he was seeing the 8th wonder of the world. Of course this never lead to anything, but they both had "that" feeling of being so very cherished.
Awwwe...maybe someday... To be loved....and shown in so many ways.
