My biggest problem with dating...

Nov 29, 2005 @ 1:57 PM My biggest problem with dating...     MischeviousAngel Posts: 277 Isn't looks (looks aren't important to me), isn't my kids (the 3 little ones go wherever mom goes), isn't location (my "nesting instinct" works just fine and I can build a "nest" literally anywhere), it's not even time (I can FIND time for just about anything)... My biggest problem with dating is that men my age tell me that I remind them of their mothers (ok fine... so I REALLY cook instead of using the microwave or hamburger helper), younger men are looking for a mom (got 5, need more like I need a hole in the head) and men who are enough older so that I don't remind them of their mothers tell me that I am too young for them... I know what the "problem" is... The problem is that unlike a lot of people of my generation I don't jump from bed to bed. Couple that with truly having more in common from an "attitude" perspective and it seems to be the "kiss of death" as far as men my age are concerned. I can't help it that I enjoy things like cooking and sewing and canning, and gardening... and I figure that somewhere out there is someone who is going to love me either because of or in spite of those "flaws".
