For me... there is this tiny church that seats about 20 people (and that is MORE THAN enough wedding guests to suit me) down at Hartwick Pines State Park... it has stained glass windows and is absolutely stunning in the late afternoon...
hea nd I in dressy but not formal clothing, a few people who are near and dear to us, a minister (and permission from the state to use the church)...

I've always wanted a midevil wedding. I wanted the food to be like the food they ate back then and served with meade. It would also be very cool to do all this in an actual castle but very expensive I'm sure. I wanted both of our coat of arms to be on the side we're standing on and when we kiss I wanted them to be lowered into each other..

scottland highlands in one of the ruins of an old castle ... gothic scenery ...
wedding dress black ( ala 15th century )
with the sound of cradle of filth --- from the cradle to enslave ... or kamelot our farewell
definately would want a huge goth metal festival for a week along side of it ... yeah thats it

When I got married it was simple, quiet and peaceful (just a few people where invited. And I couldn't of asked for anything better, because I was with the one I wanted to spend my life with and loved and that was all that mattered, no need for fancy stuff.

I hear ya ash...I think the same thing goes for me there as well just as long as she's happy with me and I'm happy with her and we're both in love with each other then the rest is just material and wont last anyway but you got to admit..It would be cool.
