Yes Luv, I just changed my grey to my natural color. No cartoon colors for this guy! LOL
Oh I did bleach my hair white once during my long hair rock and roll days but that was back in the dinosaur days!

Men should do as women and if the gray bothers them, change it. It would do not harm for men to go through the painful, foul odors for grooming rituals that women routinely do, hair dye, tweezing, lotions, potions and fixatives. Some hot wax and brazilian waxes should be added to the list... panty tape to eliminate underwear ( to hold privates up in youthful postion) ... lets bring back the epilator ( rips hair out by the roots, as its so much more macho than just shaving) and have men shave with them, daily......... bare, hairless chests should be all the rage..... LOL as well as that new tape to hold up the privates so they have a youthful appearance... LOL Go for it. Do like the commercials and tell yourself your worth it !
LOL

As long as I have hair to turn gray, I'm not going to complain about the color.

Some hot wax and brazilian waxes should be added to the list well in many places they do so ... facials and lotions are all popular here ... even my 16 year old son had a face mask now and then ... I am all for " It it feels good for you .. do it "
when we were in Turkey for xmas my son went fo a cut .. shave and facial ... which is all the norm there and he loved it ...

I was only kidding about the extensive grooming. I feel hair color is ok... but when a man crosses over into facials and manicures.... he enters into "metrosexual" status and those type of men are NOT for me. My ex was a semi metrosexual and I found it rather replusive to be with a man who was so overly vain.
If you combine that vanity with a great deal of money you can produce a metrosexual...
There is no way I would want to be around one of them... ugh..... as in my mind they are no different than a snooty, concieted vain woman

Well I dont like vain men or metros ... but dont see why they have to be vain to take care of themsleves .. however I was brought up in another cultures so its not the norm in USA ... but can be elsewhere
I like it .... sort of in the middle .. as in any sort of excessive behaviour can be off putting
Give me a man with a good skin and if it takes facials hell I am all for them

Growing old gracefully has nothing to do with haircolor. It has to do with a person's attitude and staying involved in things they enjoy. I've had jobs where I had to ask personal questions and had to verify people's identities (meaning they can't lie about their ages). It's surprising how some people in their 50's and 60's and even older can sometimes appear younger than many people in their 30's and 40's. People who love life and stay mentally and physically active always seem much younger than people who don't. All the hair dye in the world won't make someone appear young, if their attitude says they're old. I think that Sci is one of the most attractive women on here and her hair is definitely gray but she doesn't appear the least bit "old" to me. I've already stated before that I find gray or white hair on men to be very sexy.

I colored my hair for years.... when I was a rug rat, my hair was white, then it turned a light shade of brown .. I finally decided to go back to my natural shade a few months ago and my hair is darker than it's ever been.. go figure.. My mom is 69 and her hair is darker than mine with a white streak right on the crown of her head that has been there her whole life. here's an interesting note.. my mom's kidney doctor said that women that color their hair darker are at a higher risk for bladder tumors. My moms doctors don't believe her when she tells them how old she is.

The thing is, when your hair goes grey or white, your skin coloring changes, too. So dyeing your hair "back" always looks fake; you aren't fooling anyone into thinking you're younger, most are just too polite to tell you that you look dumb.
IMNSHO it's better to work with what you have, to enhance instead of try to hide. Sure, I colored my hair for years, mostly because I liked it redder than its naturally reddish dark brown. But I also wanted it to go white early, so as soon as my roots became a skunk stripe, I had it frosted to help even out the dark vs. white, and let it go au naturel.
I get as many, if not more, compliments on it now than I did when it was down to my butt. And more from women than men, believe it or not.
( ... thanks, candylily!    )

I'll go a step further and say she's the most beautiful woman these eyes have ever gazed upon....like being granted a view of heaven....like taming a summer thunderstorm, the soft veils of rain creating a rainbow of beauty....she is beauty personified....she is....hang on, that breakast burrito is making another appearance....to be continued
