I watch on as people try to make reason for their prejudice by concealing it as taste or preference. I also see the self absorbency and lack of consideration for those who chose not to utilize the option of putting up a pic. Then I shake my head at the beauty in others that some miss out on. Beleive it or not, It's not always about you and maybe it is.
I sent out an email to 36 people here and because I didnt have a pic on my profile, the emails were deleted without being read with the exception of 4. Of course we all know what they assumed. But as always I shook my head and lmao. Because of my various business holdings we come accross alot of opportunities for people in various situations. I am going to post this only because the deadline is over.

ges 18-48 are invited to strut their stuff in front of a panel of judges, including Queen Latifah herself. Contestants will be asked to share their story as to how they have achieved both inner and outer beauty –whether it was through a recent accomplishment, community service, overcoming an obstacle or standing up for something they were passionate about.

ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) is offering a great opportunity to gain experience in the music industry. Established in 1914, ASCAP is the first and leading US Performing Rights Organization representing the worlds' largest reertory totaling over 8 million copyrighted musical works of every style and genre from more than 250,000 composer, lyricist and music publisher members.
ASCAP Interns will gain experience in ASCAP Special Events and Awards including: The ASCAP Deems Taylor Awards Competition, Jazz Wall of Fame Reception and other special events. Interns must be eligible for credit through their college (CSC's new Coop Ed. class #CED270 can meet this requirement).
Requirements:
Organized and detail-oriented
Flexible schedule (a minimum of 15-20 hours per week)
Must have good computer skills
Quick learner and ability to multi-task
Able to make decisions on your own
Handle daily office duties: filing; messenger/faxing
Must be enrolled in a cooperative internship program
Business Administration, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications and Marketing are a plus.

This issue has been visited many times but these were just a few responses from yesterday.
No. I figure anyone without a pic is some scammer or a guy pretneding to be a woman.
I'll read their pictureless profile and then delete it. I figured if I can go to the trouble and post pics, then they should too. If they have no pic then get one ASAP, it's only common courtesy.
i usually dont respond to profiles without pics. i did at first, but it seemed like scams.
Like I say, you never know! Dont get it twisted now, This hasnt at all changed my veiws about being my brother's keeper. Nor does this mean i want people to open mail that I send. I want people to understand that many times they cut short the posibilities that life has to offer. There are many beautiful people here that chose not to utilize the pic option.
So keep that same attitude !!

If no pic works for you then do it... if it isnt getting the results you want you may have to compromise and post a blurry pic like everyone else does...

Who cares if someone doesnt like your tactic. If it works for you, then do it. You are wordy and interesting and some people dont have that gift, so they post a picture. We are all different and have different gifts and talents, use what works for you and don't let someones opinion mess with your plans or ideals. You want someone who sees you on the inside... and this is your plan.
( you are qouting peoples opinions of no pic in your main post here you know and that is what I'm refering to)
Nothing wrong with your idea.
Who cares what someone thinks? You may have a better plan than they do and the equipment to carry it out to get what you seek.

I think he meant that he emailed these business opportunities to several ladies, but because he didn't have a profile, they didn't read his email seriously. At least that's how I read it. (But you can't take my opinion to the bank...)

BTW I loved her in that movie where she thought she was gonna die. She is a good comedy actress.
