Another One Bites the Dust

Well, I scared another MD woman away, the easy way, by e-mail.

Rather than meet her, and have us both endure an ugly scene, I told her the simple truth, and she went ballistic on the computer.

Shall I quote?

"only those who are strange, weird or perverts use these match websites"

"Please forget I ever wrote to you."

At least she said, "please."

Those of us who live out near the edge, get to experience life's roller coaster, much more often, and more intensely, than the rest.

So what did I do?

In light of my last dating disaster with a blind date, I told this one about my cute acrylic manicure ahead of time, so that she would not suffer a psychotic break, upon meeting. I think the lilac purple nail polish I am getting for this weekend, put her off.

The funny thing is, that out in the world, I get lots of compliments from women, about my manicure, and do not have trouble meeting gals, in person.

So, my question to the class is; why are internet daters so critical and picky, and real life people so much more accepting, of the loveable quirks, that we all have?

I guess my counter-question is, why are you trying to meet people on the internet, if you don't have trouble meeting them in person "out in the world"?

Because you look and sound like a psycho? The lady just had the common sense to run the other way.

purple nail polish.........Im guessing that bragging about your penis pump and fake tits might have produced the same results.

Okay Magic here's the thing...you should put your "quirky" preference right there in your profile. That way the woman would know from the get go that you love your nails and heels and such..Maybe you could say something like:searching for openminded manicurist.Do me!

P.S. always remember and never forget that those cute acrylic manicures can cause funky green fungus!

Because I enjoy meeting lots of new people, by all available means.

The way I see it, people on the "net" do not see the real you. But people out in the "real world" do. How many people in the real world may have run away from you without meeting you, because of your "quirks?

You'll never know.

I don't think there is a difference between the internet and the "real world" people...it's just that when exposing oneself to the internet world, there's more odds of you meeting people that may not have the same "proclivities" as you do. In the "real world", people tend to migrate to places they feel comfortable in, therefore, responses to your "loveable quirks" may be more positive.

Because I enjoy meeting lots of new people, by all available means.
I would think if this were the case, then you wouldn't be so concerned with the appraisals of your "quirks". Take advantage of meeting all sorts of people and understand they have "quirks" also. It's called mutual respect....and if one doesn't agree with another, don't get upset, just recognize the fact that the two personalities don't mesh.....accept it and move on.

Magick, I think you're on the wrong dating site. You need to find one that caters to cross-dressing, male nail-polish lovin', married-and-separated people. (and I'm sure there's one....lol)

You know you kinda sound like a one trick pony same threads over and over...but truth is this might be the only place you can talk about your fetish and not fear the wraith of friends, family and co workers...there are Alt dating sites where people might be more understanding and accepting. But if you can stand the heat then have at it here!
