For something slightly different, I e-mailed three local women, from Craigslist, today, and invited them to come to this evening's singles dance, in Minneapolis.
No idea if there will be any success from this, but it seemed like a good idea, at the time.
What can it hurt, to go out on a limb, and then saw it off, right?
Reaching out to touch someone is kind of fun, even if it bears no fruit.
I will be there in bells and whistles, with my high heeled dancing shoes, and my new lilac purple manicure.
Again, this may not be productive, but what the hell.
You can't say I didn't try.

I had a friend that sold cars for a living, his saying was there is an ass for every seat, go for it. I must add only if you were up front about who you are.

Hey Door watcher,
From North Carolina, you may find it hard to believe. I understand that.
But yesterday, I made my way, through numbing sub-zero Minnesota cold, to the nail salon for a fresh acrylic manicure. I brought my own polish, bought just this week. It is IsaDora, #51, "Sweet Lilac."
I had the nail tech overlay the lilac purple with Cover Girl Boundless Color, #415, "Gold Rush" gold glitter. It is a hot combination.
The true test, though, will be at the dance. My guess is that it will work some Magick. But we shall see about that.

The thing that is slightly different here, was inviting, via e-mail, strangers from Craigslist, to meet me at a single's dance.
I have no great expectations, to avoid possible disappointment.
This is just a pro-active initiative, to wake people up, and maybe meet some new gals.
Even if none of them show up, there will be lots of other people at the dance.
At least, I am not sitting on my butt, and lamenting life's unfairness.
What the hey?
If this is permitted here?
For Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN area singles,

Most of your opening statement was interesting until you wrote this...
I will be there in bells and whistles, with my high heeled dancing shoes, and my new lilac purple manicure.
Are you going there as a transvestite? Maybe Minneapolis women are into that kind of thing but if your came to Seattle dressed that way you'll be finding yourself surrounded by "Snickers" eating men.

Sorry Indigo,
That I cannot be your grizzly bear. But there is some animosity involved. At the age of 18, my dad was the victim of an unprovoked attack, by a grizzly bear, which almost killed him.
In my family, we do not like grizzly bears.
And yes, honey, my hands are carefully manicured, soft, pampered, and prettier than yours.
Some of the women like that, though.

If you really want, Indigo,
I could be rough with you. I am actually very fierce, and trained in martial arts.
But, at heart, I am more of a lover, than a fighter.
