How do you Deal with Jealousy?? (in others or even possibly in yourself).
Do you Think it can be Fixed? Or Should it Be?
Is it ever a good thing? Or is it always destructive?

I'm with you, Sunny!!!!  I think jealousy comes from one being insecure or there not being enough trust. Either way, it's unhealthy, yet can be fixed.

Now wait a second..  That all sounds nice to hear. But we can't deny that jealousy is alive and well and it's all over the place.. It's human nature. The difference is the degree that it applies.
It enters our lives all the time. We can't just pretend it isn't there, or isn't reality.. Heck your neighbor may be jealous of your house, or your sister jealous of your share of the estate.. Your co-worker may be jealous of your promotion. We can't avoid it in life. It's there all around us as a very integral part of life.

It is the most useless emotion and the most destrutive one.

Same as the others. I don't allow the "green-eyed monster" in my life. And I CHOOSE to be this way. I don't have time for that stuff!
And if someone chooses to be jealous of me for some reason...that's their problem, not mine!

It doesn't enter MY life. It's their "issue" and if they decide to make it a problem, it's a problem for them to deal with, not me. I just ignore them, shrug  ... or push them away and/or tell them to direct their energies elsewhere if they are too annoying. 
It's my right and responsibility for me to live my life in the way that's most comfortable for me. If anyone has a problem with that, they don't need to be invited in. (find some other place to play silly games  )

I to do my best to resist this emotion, but at times it is hard, the thing I hate more than jealousy is feeling sorry for ones self.......Doesn't happen very often but when it appears( usually when vulnerable in one way or another) I do what ever I can to block these emotions, which is positive in the long run but catches up with you one way or another, being alone and breaking up just before Christmas was my down fall, had too much time, and too many thoughts, and Way too many emotions. Actually put myself through very aggressive self therapy. And Hey, that's how I found all of you, I refused to allow it to control....me. Had to find something else to take up my free time. Thanks to all for the laughs, and a good bit of self reflection.....while making my posts.

I guess I deal with jealousy by remembering how very much I have to be grateful for...if nobody else ever said it, they should have: if you spend too much time worrying about what you don't have, you stand a good chance of losing what you do have.

Back on topic.. I use jealousy/envy in a productive manner, at least as far as other people's posessions. I use it as motivation to work harder to earn what I want, rather than be jealous of what they have and I don't.
If it's an emotional/relationship based jealousy, it's time to examine the relationship and find out where the problem lies. Is it behavior on the other person's part? or an insecurity within myself? Answer that , discuss it with your significant other, and try to grow and mature, or understand that it may not be the right relationship due to the absence of trust and move on.
