My guess is........she is trying to form him into something he is not......to change him. He thought you liked him for who he was, and now he thinks you want to make him better.(in your mind).....................JMHO>.....

Here is an example of too demanding..
This girl that I had been dating for a few months decided to buy me a gift... I thought it was really sweet, and I opened it up with a big grin on my face... 
She had bought me a pager!
She then proceeded to explain my "NEW RULES", which made that smile turn upside down very fast...  She told me that I had 1 MINUTE to call her back anytime she decided to page me, so she could know where I was at every moment during my day... It was not enough that she called me a billion times each day at work!!!!
I asked her if I had done something wrong to warrant this, and she said "no.... I just want to know where you are all the time..."... Made me go 
To make a long story short, I gave her back that silly pager immediatly, and sent her on her way...

I see so many demands in friends of mine.....sometimes to the point that I wish I weren't in the women category!!!! I honestly think that a demanding woman is someone that is very, very insecure of herself which then leads to insecurity in the relationship.

I have never been demanding..But I have gotten my way a time or three... I use the evil cheesy smile or if I need to pull out the big guns *The lip* ...pouting has been very very good to me  Wonder how long I'll be able to pull that lip thing off???

Yes, you must convince rather than demand... Make your guy think he needs exactly what you need, with style and subtle charms... That pouty lip... Puppy dog eyes... a cute develish grin.... the batting of your eyes...
Or
