I'm sick of getting these. Seems like they're all from either Russia, or South America. They don't even make an attempt to hide their intentions either.
Always something like "looking for my soulmate". Not to mention the really bad English.

try applying filters to "friends requests":
http://www.matchdoctor.com/myMailSettings.aspx
although it won't help a lot if they are using a US address.
maybe send all 28 year old women to your filtered mail, lol. and we have no explaination of why that seems to be their favorite age

You know, I filtered my mail, before I used these forums......Then I realized I had all this filtered mail, weeks old.....One was from a mod......(guy) one was from fay,(out of the country) and a couple were from women who were a year older than my ideal age group........so folks, the moral of the story is,.you might just be blocking people who are your friends(or want to be). Just sucks we have weed the good ones out of the bad..........

ha ha ha ha guys ... do you know how many winks (before they were taken away) and emails I have received because of the same phenomenon working in the reverse?
i.e. people looking to "hook" up with an island chick, just because I am from "the islands"?

Before I set my mail filters to US only, I had what seemed like every 20-30 year old woman in China wanting to meet me, plus all the usual Russians who loved my structure, and the Nigerians who had a fortune to share with me.
Since I'm not one of those guys that show up here looking for an asian bride, I don't need to launder any Nigerian fortunes, and I'm not even sure what my structure is, the mail filters are great for me!

I have mail filters set in place now too, but unfortunately, they do block out a number of interesting people.......and not enough of the scammers. I'm not going to complain though, cause it's easy enough to hit the delete button, and I know MD Mods have been trying hard to eliminate them.
