I have long thick hair and I never want to get it cut ... I can put it up .. wear it down
Guys is it a case of the longer the better ... or anything will do ?
Almost all men like long hair, unless brainwashed by a short hair wife or girlfriend who says "how do you like my new hairdo?”
If the guy gives an honest opinion, no sex for him that night; he is toast because he has an upset woman who has just castrated her female side that naturally has long hair; an important difference between men and women.
Hair is a symbol of sexuality. "beauty" shops would love to transform all beautiful long female hair into short, clipped, and male crew-cut type hair, that requires frequent maintenance and repeat visits. This brings them bread aplenty.

Long Blondino, but I draw the line at the middle of the back; too much is a waste. That is not though to say that shorter does not work for certain women, but in essence long and vibrant will always get a woman noticed....
case in point: Sined O'Connor (sang Nothing Compares to you, Bald....cute cause of her eyes) is flipping crash your car staring hot...if you have ever seen her with hair.

Long is always my preference! The only caveat I would put is that when it gets so long as to cause headaches, it is time for a trim but that is it!

Mine is longggg and I like it that way, I really don't care what a guy thinks. Imagine, [guy] "Oh, sorry, your hair is two inches longer than my limit"... hahaha... yea, that'll work with women, NOT.

As a bald man, does my opinion carry any weight? Because I have little choice in the matter. But, In my opinion, I prefer long, over short. Very long is very hot in the sack, but not so hot, if she is always "doing her hair", when ever you want to go out.. Just long enough to cover the shoulders is preferable........Love to move it to the side, and feel the heat trapped underneath, on my lips............  And I love salty necks........................   And I also love to massage a woman's head, running my fingers through her hair....And massaging her scalp........HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

~sigh~ I happen to adore loooong hair on a man probably for a lot of the same reasons men like long hair on women...
Hair is a symbol of sexuality.

Most certainly I prefer women with longer hair that of course is well kempt full and health. Hair is one of the first things I notice on attractive women.

Yes Swing..the key is "well kept"..just because your hair is long doesn't mean it looks good...I've seen long and stringy... 
I like mine on the longer side....but haven't gone much past just below my shoulders in awhile.......so ....NO I don't think longer is neccessarily better...
I've seen all kind of sexy do's in all lengths....

I absolutely love my long hair!
I hope I don't come off sounding conceited ... but I really do like it. It's a genetic gift. My Irish grandma had great, thick, red hair.
There's a long running thread over in that forum where the ... ahem ... older people go ... ( ) about women over 50 keeping their hair long. Seems quite a few believe that once one hits a certain age, one should not have lovely, flowing, sensual hair that falls over the eyes in a sexy manner or gets tossed back with a flitatious shake of the head ...
AND ... I can always throw it up in a pony tail in the heat of summer & keep my neck cool ... Or grab it up into a clip so it looks professional yet stylish.
(That same clip is good for keeping it back out of the way for those times when I may be leaning forward ... ya know ... doing something ... and I don't want ... um ... hair in my mouth.)
Oh
and not to mention the fact that I am too low maintenance (too busy) to keep those very frequent appointments to keep the short hair short ...

... I recently read a guy's profile that stated VERY, specific physical attributes he was looking for in a woman ... including the absolute length of hair ... Was just way too funny! He also mentioned the shape of her smile...showing just the top teeth ... WEIRD guy.

My hair used to be past my waist, but I cut it above my shoulders. Now it's grown out to below my shoulder blades.
I agree that it depends on how a woman looks better as to how long her hair should be.
