Ladies, if you see a profile of a man with a gun. Are you more cautious about that man or it doesn't matter. Me, I am afraid of any man with a gun. My friend had one turned on her. She is dead. So, if I see a man with a gun . Even if it is a hunting gun, I pass.

i am not afraid, as i carry a gun- member of the NRA- concealed weapons license, too- they pull a gun on me , it might be the man that dies- I AM A DEAD SHOT !!!!!

I have used this argument about weapons in schools.......I could kill you faster with a sharped pencil, or backpack full of books than I could with a gun, and both would make less of a mess.........
I am not a violent man, and any man that is will use anything with in reach, so who you pick is much more important than what kind of toys he has laying around.
Or here is another one, a guy "goes postal" grabs a gun walks into McDonalds and shoots 5 people, 2 die, three injured.
Same guy"goes postal" steals a bus, drives it through McDonalds and kills 8 people, injuring 4 more.....
On the news they will talk about banning guns, but it will never mention banning buses...So the moral of the story, the choice of weapons is not problem ,......he is...

I agree with Blu. With my job I am on the roads pretty late at night and usually alone and I have been told that any time I apply for a permit I would get one because of this. The thing about owning a gun has to do with respecting it for what it is and being aware all of the time. I would hate for someone to write me off because I pack a little hardware ...

A man with a gun does not intimidate me at all. A man with a gun is not considered dangerous. A man without a gun can cause in some cases more damage with his hands. I know this from first hand experience. If a man is going to hurt you he will do it with or without a gun.

Aw LJ, you went and got dressed and put your gun away again, dammit. 
I'm afraid of anyone, man or woman, with a gun who doesn't really understand how to use it. If you see me with one, run! Now if any of you ladies see LJ with one...well, I'll bet we can still manage to disarm him and ahem....well.
