When someone sends you a number of e-mails and then quits sending them even though you have replied and he/she is still active, do you usually think it's because he or she:
A) got bored with you B) "met" someone he/she liked better C) was scared off by something you wrote D) actually read your profile and didn't like something in there E) fill in your own answer

E) Any/All of the above?
But maybe you just never quite found common ground on which to make a connection, with room to grow. I think this happens fairly frequently. Just part of the screening process. Sometimes it takes longer than other times to conclude, there really isn't any future here to continue to explore.
Hopefully though, they read your profile before the first email.. Or they weren't all that interested to start with.

No, I'm just ultra-opinionated and sometimes I metaphorically pull people's arms out of their sockets when I lose.
If I met someone like that, I'd be frightened too

Good question dooney123 !!!
I often receive letters in which at the end MEN write: I hope to hear from you again very soon. The day after I reply .....and then SILENCE .......
All your points are perfect replies .....and I add.....men are always in research of something new, they often change mind and proposal
In my case the odd thing is that i have not the time to bore them ......they leave me immediately ......

Luisa- I think for some of them, it's just a game to see how many women they can get to respond.
Indigo- you probably wouldn't want to remember them even if you could.

Dooney, I read somewhere that you reached your e-mail limit in 3 hours (100 e0mails). If someone sent me 100 e-mails in one day I'd probably stop writing - I'd be too busy reading.
