Have any of you who get involved in LDRs with someone from online ordered a background check on him/her to see if he/she is married?

It happened to me in a nearby relationship (30 miles). I didn't mind, since I had nothing to hide.
We eventually broke up due to her suspicions. (We worked for different insurance companies. Maybe she thought I only wanted to get my hands on her...

Try trenchcoat, wig, glasses, diapers. I hear that works real well.

Mary- that's an excellent idea. I'll have to try that. I think I'll also need a camera with a telephoto lens.

I think I'll also need a camera with a telephoto lens. That's so outdated. What you need is rope, knives, duct tape and lots of large trash bags.

LGQ- you probably should. Either that, or follow Mary's advice.

Here's your serious answer:
If you're too stupid to figure out if the guy is married or not, then no background check is gonna help you anyway.
Second, I view those checks as invasion of privacy, bordering with downright stalking.

Mary, it may not always be a case of stupidity, there might just have been other lies told in the past
