These days everyone is always udnerestimating the younger people. Everwhere I go people are constantly thinking that I'm just a young fool They think I am inexpereinced and don't know anything about harship or pain, but more importantly they think I don't know what love is. On this site I was hoping I'd get a little bit of understanding, but everytime I message a woman on this site they look at my age and think I'm just a horny perverted boy. And I'm not the only one. Most of the guys I know my age are also very mature for their age. Ladies, you should pay more attention to who it is you are talking to and less to how many birthdays they have celebrated.

Well, at 19, its normal to be horny ( even when you try to act like you aren't ), and be looked at that way, even if there is more to you than that .... post more in the forums so that the ladies get a better sense of who you are, and what you're like ..... send messages to women commenting about their posts in the forums ( showing that you have learned a bit more about them than what their profile says and you're not just sending out random messages ) ..... be yourself, have fun, things will open up for you.

I'm really not sure what we're supposed to do with this thread...
I can tell you not to worry cuz we know you're not just another young pervert, but we can't really know that.
Guess you have to demonstrate maturity in order to be believed. And I'm not certain starting a this thread accomplishes that.

At that age....everyone's horny. Hell i'm 20 and it's something to be expected. Being horny doesn't mean you can't have an intellectual conversation!
I do get the "you haven't had hardships and don't know shit about life" thing a lot, though. And i know that i may not have had all the same hardships as those older than me, but when it comes down to all seriousness, i can buckle down and be just as serious as any other adult. I've gone through a lot more hardship than most people realize. I just don't put it out on a silver platter to show everyone, "Hey, this is the crap and hard stuff that i've gone through. This obviously makes me mature."
I know that i act childish quite a bit, but it's more of a laid back, easy going attitude than anything. I like to have fun. I like to make fart jokes. It doesnt mean that i can't turn around and have a good discussion about religion and do what i need to do to get through the day.

Hardships? You younguns don't know anything about hardships...
Why back in the day, I had to walk 40 miles each way to school and back, and it was uphill both ways. It rained every day that it wasn't snowing, and I didn't have anything except some old sandals to wear. I was so poor I had to write my own text books so that I could read them by the candle light. When I got home from school, I had to work for the next 16 straight hours digging trenches with a spoon. Then I'd get a piece of bread and 1/2 a cup of pond water before bed. I'd sleep for 15 minutes and then it was time to get up to walk to school again. On Sunday, I'd walk to church where the minister woulf flog us with a horse whip for being sinners. And those were the easy days, I hate to think about the tough days.

lordy... if I had a dollar for everytime I heard that spiel from my neice and nephew.. I'd have it made..
maybe 1% of 19 year olds are mature .. and that's probably stretching it a bit...

I'm just saying, most of the girls my age (that I've met) are all obsessed with looks and metrial possessions, and only the older women will understand me for who I am, but they don't bother looking either because they think I'm one of those young stupid guys. All my life I've hated being young because no adult would ever take me seriously.

It's true!!
I lot of them older farts don't understand us young'uns!!
They just think we're immature and horny all the time, and have no substance, and no wisdom! And no experience! They just think we wanta drink and use drugs and hang out and play that wild rock & roll music real loud all the time.  (Well, sometimes Country Western).
But we do! We're just dripping with substance and experience!
Don't write us off so easily. We'll probably surprise you!
