Depends on what type of love you're referring to. Love out of admiration and respect for someone you've talked to probably so. Romantic love...I kinda doubt it. JMO.

yep its possible to fall in love with someone who you have never met face to face .. you fall for their words you fall for their thoughts you fall for the way the make you feel when you talk to them... then WHAM reality can hit and when you meet there is no chemistry and you think what in the heck was I thinking

Well, I never met her but I had a huge crush on Linda Ronstadt when I was about 5. I was devastated when she didn't show up to my birthday party. True love? Oh yes.... oh yes.... *stares off into the distance*

It is pure fantasy to fall "IN LOVE" with someone before you have actually met face-to-face. Reality in this situation can be a real eye-opener when you actually see what you get or want to anyway.

I believe that's the best way of falling in love. Pardon me using high words in low environment, but if I love someone's immortal soul, who cares what his physical appearance looks like ? I'm professional designer and can make virtually anyone look great. And , after all , human body and face are not going to stay the way they are now forever, and neither are sexual abilities - so ,if those were the things one fell in love with in the first place , the perspective seems rather brutal... Personality, on the other hand, is going to stay there "as long as death do us part"...

Ah, but is it only about appearance? You fall madly in love with this person's words and thoughts, then meet and find that in person their pheromones are totally in conflict with yours...and I'm serious. There really IS such a thing as chemistry and I think we all know it. Regardless of how much we want something to work, more often than not we meet and it's like encountering a brother or sister.
Like it or not, our perceptions of someone's online persona are colored by what we want them to be. Sometimes they really ARE what we want them to be but I don't think there's be nearly as many of us here as there are if it were as simple as finding someone who matches our list of qualities we're looking for, appearances or not.

MD? then leave, or don't insult it. 3. You state you can make virtually anyone look better, then state brutal perspective...oxymoron? Poor choice of career? Hypocrite? 4. Yep-personality.
Think about it.
I believe you can fall in love here, but until it is cemented by meeting, it isn't fulfilled. JMHO

It helps to actually read the post you are attempting to reply to, Lore... Is it the case of under-literacy or just bad manners?... If you are not interested in opinions other than one of your own - then forum is hardly for you , leave or at least try not to insult others. Think about it.

I got two words for you- newlife...bite me You have a history of insulting here. I'm hardly "under-literate" I'm as smart as everybody here-just FYI-including YOU!
I won't stoop to more obnoxious insults-why didn't you answer the questions? If you have to answer with nothing but insult, please don't bother...
Have a great night

I think its possible. Shoot. Im in love with Paint, Lori, and Beck, and I ain't met non of them.
I'm professional designer and can make virtually anyone look great. Ah, I dunno bout that. From where I sit, Lori is lookin a whole bunch better. Maybe instead insultin her, you ought ta ask her fer a few beauty tips.
Lori girl, don't let her bother you, Yer a classy lady and a looker ta boot.

Ah...I lived this in December. Had the most romantic on-line/phone love affair ever. We finished each other's sentences, had a lot of the same thoughts, everything was wonderful.....until we met. It was exactly as Heaven mentioned....brother and sister love with NO chemistry. We managed to stay good friends for several months though, and I cherish the experience.

Yer welcome cutie pie.
Pardon me using high words in low environment, Who's this uppity broad think she is? Heck fire, I burned out more brains goin to one a them hippie love fests then what she got. If MD is so far beneath her, she outta go someplace more intellectully stimmulatin. Ya know, like a bar er a bowlin alley. That might be more her speed.
