I realize how much women want to have their cake and eat it to. Not to metion how they contradict themselves when looking for that special guy. They say they want a guy who is responsible, gainfully employed, financially and emotionally stable, owns his own house, dresses nice, clean cut, mature, tidy in his appearance, cleans up after himself, not a slob, etc. When they they finally get such a man, then the response is, "What good are you?........You're no fun!"
I guess nice guys really do finish last.
My perspective on this subject is not being a bad ass or a goody two shoes, but just be yourself. Be proud and comfortable with who you are. They're too many phonies in this world. People who parade around in some facade or hide behind their potemkin village. Trying to be someone or something they're not. It will only backfire and come back to bite'em on their ass. If people can't accept you for who you are, then they're not worth it.

I keep saying it and saying it but no one believes me. I want a Good Boy, not a bad boy. I need someone stable, honest, reliable with a decent job. A tiny bit of naughty/riske humor is ok. But I really just want your basic nice guy.

Sigh...I want your basic smart guy. I don't care about job, house, etc., I've got those covered. I want somebody who knows the things I don't and appreciates the things I do know. Smart enough to know a good thing when he's got it, and not after he's lost it. Someone who knows how to be a partner, dammit. Share and share alike, complement each others' weaknesses and strengths. Enjoy the good life together. Even if it's not in the same house.

Bad boys huh?? Well my idea of a bad boy is one who can be a wild guy in the bedroom, but still goes out and obeys the laws. Now someone who smokes pot, goes to bars to raise hell and sleeps around, one who also has no room to conversate about anything other than sex and how good he thinks he may be, now to me that is a turn off, and also guys who are 43 willing to date someone who is 18, I cannot stand that when I look at profiles.

Why 10 years? Isn't that your rule, but not necessarily society's? I've dated way outside my "age bracket" (whatever that means) in the past... in both directions. Does that make me a bad boy? I think the rule of thumb for men is 1/2 your age plus 7... so I'm 54, that would be 27+7=34. Perfect!!!
