with gas prices as high as they are more are looking to date woman closer to home . regular gas is $3.45 and E-85 is $2.30 You can guess more will use E-85 . some are staying close to home . while others are not . gas prices DO tell us how far we look for a woman .

I don't agree or at least for me.
If I looked at gas prices I wouldn't have gone out and bought the truck I did or be in the middle of looking for a boat. I just go with it and don't look back or worry about things like that, I'm not going to let things like this dictate my life and how I live it.

If finding love was cheap, easy, and close to home, no one would be hanging out on a dating site.

maybe for some...it is too easy when it is close to home...
I have found that ..." local" people are not as open and free . are too quick to dismiss.. Too ready to move on to "the next one".. whereas "the distance factor" puts up just enough of a barrier and comfort zone to allow people to get to know each other ...and to keep the candle burning..

The 100 mile operational area hasn't changed as gas prices increase. The distance is based on "do I really want to travel 200 miles round trip to get laid?" Even if it was to rendezvous with Ms. America and she had 25 Brinks trucks following her around....I think not.
In all seriousness gas prices are starting to hurt racing at least here in the Midwest. We have noticed a decrease fan attendance. The promoters are beginning to complain per the purses most are paying out.
It's a catch 22....less fans=less payouts which shall=less cars which=less fans etc. We have rolled back our schedule for this season and are focusing on the larger dollars races even if we are required to travel greater distances to run even once a week.

EOB and I are only about 75 miles apart .... makes it much easier to not worry so much about what it will cost to get together .... and I don't consider it a round trip to get laid ... its to see someone I am crazy about.
