What do you have against redheads?

Let me preface this by saying that I seems to me that there is an undercurrent against those with red hair or some variant thereof. I don't think that it's as pronounced from the male to female preference, as there seems to be a fair (pun intended) number of men that think women with red hair are attractive. The trouble seems to be the other way around. It seems to be that women predominately choose the guy with darker hair and/or a darker complexion.
Why? 
For the sake of discussion. And PLEASE don't just offer up some sort of PC answer, be real about this.

I date the person, not the hair.
It depends on how any man grooms their hair, whatever color it is.
I'm a redhead-I certainly would date one!

No matter what the hair color or eye color or nose size or face shape, it's how it all fits together that makes it attractive. For hair color specifically, usually your natural color fits best with your skin tone so, for example, a black haired woman with light skin and freckles is not attractive but as a carrot-top, ...

I am a redhead, have been all my life. But for some reason, I only date dark haired men. That is what I am attracted to. Not that I don't find blonde and redheaded men handsome, I just am not attracted to them in a physical way. I dont know why, I have always been this way, since I was in highschool and started dating.

but, as funkymonkey has pointed out, we all have our little "physical attractions"that we tend to stand firm on. . as for me no short, fluffy or blonds. well, i would compromise on the blond if she was at least 6 foot LOL. of course our hangups are unfair! we should at least give the other person a chance. as the short fluffy blonds keep saying "whats wrong with short, fluffy or blond!" nuttin honey, theres a bunch of short fluffy guys out there maybe even hungrier than you are. nuff said. we be jammin

I date the person, not the hair. I like people that think like this.......cuz my hair went out with someone else awhile back, and never has returned!!!! 
I'm a redhead-I certainly would date one! Well...that's good, I 'spose....but I'm bald, yet I have absolutely no desire to date a bald woman!!!!!

It's been my experiential that redheads are great fun. Gots a lot of spunk. I know you ain't spossed to generalize an alla that, but the redheads I seen have been a blast.

Sweet, I am all those things too, but I definately have the temper that goes with the hair. I guess my family .. were the freakies on the block. lol we love to have fun and are good peeps, but we have twisted senses of humor and we like it that way. yeppers, lots of spunk!
I am attracted to baldies too, I shave "Lovin' Man's" head all the time.
