is it children?
is it sharing household chores?
is it faithfullness?
is it having a "fat" and "deep" pocket?
is it blah blah blah blah blah...etc
or what?
I know this varies from one person to another but what's your take on this?

Conflict..if you can overcome and get through any conflict that you are dealing with in a relationship then you have succeeded in strenghtening your relationship.

yeah think I'd go with trust too. if and when there ain't no trust in a relationship, then that relationship is a bust.

communication
But communication could be a cause of the conflict..when not communicating as one should it does cause a conflict..having conflicts brings two people closer together because they begin to communicate and thus strengthening their relationship.

I believe it is more than one thing that strengthens a relationship or makes
for a healthy relationship.
I believe that faithfulness is important as well as trust and communication as well as other factors.
I think both partners should be encouraging one another each day to be the best
they can be especially during the hard times as well as the good times.

TRUST! TRUST! TRUST! if you don't have this basis in a relationship nothing else matters. Communicate all you want and all the other nice stuff, But if trust is not there or lost, the relationship is doomed. If you trust a liar,,,well you're just looking through rose coloured glasses. JMHO

As far as I'm concerned, I'd say No to conflicts despite the lots of kissing and sex afterwards. Things might get outta hand in the course of conflicting you know...I'm not a fan of conflicts cos I kinda suck at it

Conflict can strengthen relationships between people since relationships that have been tested by adversity are often stronger than those that have only seen good times.
Ok..I`m off the conflicts thingy..just my opinion.. 
A relationship is like a garden. It needs lots of love, care and good things to help it grow and flourish. There are many things you can do to strengthen a relationship and make it healthier and happier.

TRUST! TRUST! TRUST! sorry Tink.Conflict and adversity are everyday occurences in or out of a relationship. Fight, kiss ,make-up or screw! Once the trust is broken, even if some people are in denial, the seeds of doubt are planted ..Forgiveness! stop-gap solution. Liars lose all their credibilty, even in a court of law,,,,so that tells you how important trust is.
My ex was an abusive SOB,,,but he never lied to me!

Tink, yeah theres no such thing as perfection and there always will be conflicts as a result of lack of that trust. conflicts every now and then or day in day out do no good to a relationship. instead, it tends to weaken and drive the relationship down the sewer

A bit of conflict yes! Toilet seat issues,,money issues,,,kids issues! Normal everyday conflicts. Solve them all with your partner and everything is good!....FP almost(Translation available).Oh a perfect world! It is attainable. But...if one partner strays,,,Trust is lost and someone has to be there to support the kids (end product of that lovinfeelin) (financially of course) Emotionally...most important of all.
