LOOKS VS PERSONALITY
Would you rather be with a person that you think is absolutely gorgeous and has a average but mostly crappy personality? Or Would you rather be with someone not so great looking to average looks that has a great personality and makes you feel wonder?
I myself would love to just be with someone that has a wonderful personality and is semi attractive. Rather it be a great smile or a set of beautiful eyes and a great personality that can make me laugh and have fun with them.
I notice alot of people just go for the super model or the fit/trim woman and dont give others with a wonderful personality and just normal average looks a chance.

I think I would choose the person who I like to be with and who I also like to look at. It's not that hard to find in one person. There are a few guys on this site who seem to have good personalities and are also good-looking.

The semi attractive person can be beautiful with a great personality. A rotten personality will make a gorgeous person ugly.

...and ruin my REP? Are you F***ing NUTS? That is what friends with benefits are for, the hit it and leave it chick, the one that your boys NEVER get to see but you call when you need great advise .
seriously though:
I know a 215lb 5ft 8 female who is gorgeous and has a great personality and I also know a 135lb 5ft 2 woman who is not the "most attractive to me" with a shitty personality, so....help me out here. WHat is the real reason for your post?

Personality and looks aren't in inverse proportion to each other. Lots of unattractive or average people also have unpleasant personalities just as lots of very attractive people have great personalities. One has nothing to do with the other. If I care about someone, they become more attractive to me anyway. I don't agree that just because I don't like someone, that person is no longer handsome or beautiful. I can still see the physical beauty without liking the person.

For myself, personality is always gonna tilt the scale. Besides, if you stay close enough, you don't see the flaws anyway....

come on, cut her some slack, people. i was the one who suggested she post her questions here instead of the blogs figuring she'd get decent answers. now i know why people insist on posting questions and discussions as 'blogs'. they can use the 'delete comment' feature for unkind or off-topic remarks.  (now you make it my job to delete the off-topic or mean crap  )

I would only date someone whose personality I liked and who I found attractive to me. I would never date someone just for his looks if I didn't like his personality.

dooney said it the best. I want someone who is attractive to me , and someone of average intelligence, who also has a great personality. I'm looking for a well rounded person, who I can spend the rest of my life with. I'm looking for the total package, perhaps this is why I have never married, I refuse to settle for one or the other.
Now the OP's question was

so the question is what does that mean?..............".to be with " as in dating, marriage

So OP.... Please discuss in full detail your reasons for posting this. I myself see that you posted it due to what you feel are societal status quo benchmarks and set standards that those who do not qualify in such said arena must undergo and live with due to not being able to possibly change them. From reading what you wrote, reading your profile, and checking your pictures, it is clear to me that what has been set, you are against and feel it is unfair due to you feeling that you possibly do not meet any such criteria. Also, you see that you have more to offer than just what (OBVIOUS MORONS HAVE STATED AS BEING HOT) which is personality, which far outweighs anything else ever in this world. Please understand thought that personality usually does not get taken into account until far later in life after the affected individual finally learns that you won't always wake up with beauty and that the person you end up with really should be able to communicate with you on more than just a physical level. So hun...with the nice lips, inviting smile, intriguing eyes, and cute bangs....what's up?

Yes you are, but that statement goes out to whomever it was that said a model "has" to look like, be this tall, etc... That a woman is beautiful only if.....
I have model friends with great personalities that have a rather lonely life. In fact, a majority of the top models are like that. You'd never figure that a woman who made it in Sport's Illustrated would or could ever be alone, but guess what...
now MOD. This post had been up for an hour and change in which the OP has been sitting back and watching, instead of saying anything....get my point?
