i've done all of the above! sometimes i thought it was love, but it was just the fact that i wanted to be in love. or sometimes i thought i was "in love" when really i just held the person in high regard and liked them alot.
i've only been in love (proper grown up love lol) twice. and its a wonderful feeling!

I believe it's the matter of maturity. People are born with the need to be loved , but it takes mature personality to develop need to love. When two mature persons create a bond, they will be loving each other , thus fulfilling each other's need to be loved as well as their own need to love. This kind of bond is harmonious and is likely to last indefinitely . The opposite case is obvious disaster : if both enter the relationship with need to be loved but without need to love - none is going to have his/her needs meet ... And there's intermediate case , where one has both needs ( to love and be loved) and the other one has only one need to be loved. Sorry case , actually , since one of the partners will feel pretty happy , while the mature one will be looking for way out...

I don't worry about love or go looking for it. I'd rather fish and seem to have better luck catching those compared to love

....thee is the emotional state of loving and the REAL LOVE. Look how many men Love their wives.......and many of them havent had sex with their wives in year.........yet they still love them. Then their are the men who feel like lthey still love their wives.......but are out their getting their delights from someone else......but wont leave their wives.......when you ask them why they reply *why should I leave......I still love my wife*........
I think REAL LOVE.......is honest and straightforward and simple and doesnt do anything behind anyones back......and is there thru thick and thin.
To me....*falling in love* is more an emotional and chemistry thing. People can fall in love like crazy one month.......then in the 3rd month their gone..........LOL
The test is a time thing.........REAL LOVE IS here to stay......and many of those other lovely things........is not boastful.....speaks truthfully etc......etc....etc....

So do you really think or believe there is such a thing as real love today??? In todays times with the internet and such, love and[ i use that term loosely] will only last as long as there is a lust or crush for that person at that time, till someone else comes alone to catch there eye and off they go.Unlike say our grand parents of years past love in most cases was there for a life time,No matter what problems life had to throw at them...... Could it be that the old fashion values of years past are all but gone??? Or could it be that love is just old fashion????...Just asking....

Yes, I do believe in love.however, you can love someone without being IN love. Sometimes love is not an instant thing.. often times it has to grow and flourish into something solid, long lasting and simply incredible.

I believe love and being in love still exist today. However, if we chase after it, it often runs away.
