nope, i dont mix work with my social life. just leads to more problems down the road. And i work with 90% women so that narrows things down quite a bit!

Odds are in the other direction for me, and fraternization is actually encouraged, believe it or not, as long as you're not in the same reporting line. NO crushes on girls though...

Only 3 men where I work. All the rest are women. What with chasing kids all day, there is no time for a crush even if there was an appropriate male around. And neither of these would be appropriate.

All the women where I work are either married or gay, so no.

Yes... it started as a friendship, became more than friends, but less than physical, b/c I was too married, and would never cheat. And he found someone who would.. and it was very painful when he moved on. Lesson learned.

Too troubles: start - duration and especially end if you have to work with him/her 8 hours per day

Yes...many years ago at Enron. I had a crush on my boss -- who was married, so nothing ever came of it, but it was a serious obsession for some time and drove me nuts. Then later I had a boss who had a crush on me. He was not married, but I did not requite his love. That was nearly as difficult as my crush. He would stutter and turn red when I went into his office to discuss work.
