I think I've been around this site for about 6 months staedily now and have met alot of interesting people. Hae yet to meet anyone face to face. There was one I was considering and *poof* correspondence ended. Don't think I scared him off as I never mentioned it? Will just have to guess at the reasons I guess...

It certainly provides options. One is able to "date." Some on these sites actually desire to met as in person and enjoy certain adventures as well as experiences.
For those that are seeking to find monogamy as in there "one and only"....I'm sure problems could come into play. For the remainder, it's a fun and exciting method to meet and play.

I find a lot of ladies ( and maybe men) are so determined to find "THE ONE" that it really must limit who they meet. That's sad.
That's one thing I don't like about profiles, they make all of our preferences seem like absolutes. The forums on the other hand are great because you can get to know people a little better. People that list everything that you aren't can sometimes find themselves interested in someone they've excluded.
Ive found someone here that I like very much that's different than the type of person I'm generally attracted to.

Darn! I wanted to be under 'Motown' in the Kissing Game, and somebody put a lock on the post. I was all ready (w/ my minty fresh breath) to do a little lip nibbling.
I guess I'll just have to use my imagination. I need a cigarette. (And I don't even smoke).

I agree with Muskoga Guy....profiles shouldn't be like writing a resume. I tend to go with the flow. If someone writes me an interesting email, he may not be what I imagined I wanted, but he might pique my interest or amuse me.! I'm inclined to respond and keep our options open. Life and people are so much more varied, intriguing and dynamic than my preconceived ideas!!

Relax, guys,yu are not under a microscope! guys who are really sweet(and sincere)are always a turnon. As long as he doesn't do anything really wrong. Just have fun,it should be fun,not so much pressure. It's all in your head! People are bound to be a little nervous, but life is too short to get hung up over it.
