Bad Boy= A little cocky, a crooked smile, with that little spark in his eye. I think this is the best definition. We don't want REAL bad boys....just those with a little "attitude" meaning someone with the charm, cockines, and that little twinkle in his eye. Someone secure in himself!
I think this is almost a fantasy thing because I want it but not all the time. I want someone I can enjoy a mature conversation with too. But, it doesn't take long to spot a man with an at ti tude (not to be confused with a woman beater, jailbird, or other such things).

Rhett Butler "Gone with the Wind"
Patrick Swayze "Dirty Dancin"
It's the same principle as a "lady in the streets and a tramp in the bedroom" for women.

I don't want a badboy but I want someone who doesn't take my crap. An assertive man. I love those men who just kind of take what they want. One of my biggest turn offs are when a man lets me get my way when whatever we were talking about means alot to him. I want him to know what he whats and stick with it.

Some one spontanious! who will come home on a friday night and take me off somewhere doesnt matter where could be a camping weekend down the road, or a weekend in Milan who cares. Someone who knows what they want out there in the world but knows what I want at home. Someone I can be proud of. Someone I just cant take my eyes off when we are together.

Hmmmm, you boys really want to know?
I couldn't care less what he dresses like. Well....within reason. I wouldn't want him to pull his pants up to his nipples or have his ankles showing.
I want a man who loves me right down to my bones. Who will chase me around the house until he catches me. Who isn't a wussie, "yes dear, anything you say dear" kind of guy. Who knows how to fight fair and will even back down once in a when he feels I'm right.
A man who will do anything to take care of his own. Wouldn't think of living off the state. A good father figure. A man who can lead with a gentle hand. A guy who wouldn't mind throwing in a load of laundry if I'm working late. Who doesn't ask to see the grocery receipt when I get home from the store. What is WITH that?
A man who makes me laugh till I have to run to the bathroom. That I can spend 8 hours in the car with without trying to picture what he would look like without eyeballs. Who doesn't EVER make me listen to Niel Young or Ted Nugent.
And it would be awfully nice if he found me attractive and fun to be with.
Yep...that's what I want.

I want the real deal....I want to be happy to get out of my car at night to go inside.
I want a guy who takes care of his business, but has time for me in the mix. A guy who has friends, and considers me his best one. Someone who is capable of giving AND receiving love. The type who knows where my buttons are,but wouldn't dream of pushing them, because that's not what he's made of. He should have an irreverent sense of humor, with perfect timing. He should like that I love him in a pair of jeans, chomois shirt and workboots...and not mind if I wake him up in the night to make love if I get to bed later than he does. He should love to kiss. He should love animals, and the holidays, and me. He should love me right down to my bones. And he'll get a fair chance at the same in return.

Seems that the Ideal does differ between the women here, but most of the women here have a pretty realistic vision of a mate that I could relate to as a man, Although a few mentioned Cocky, I don't get that one.
Isn't that opposite of patience and modesty?
I’m personally not a fan of cocky people, they are impatient and rude, I’m surprised that is considered a desirable trait in a man.

His smile will unravel me...because I will melt each time he smiles at me...
His humor will delight me.....always keeping a smile on my face....
His passion will awaken me.....he will take me where I've never been before...
He will consider me his friend and will adore me as I will him... 
He will like an enexpected adventure now and then, because he knows me very well........He may even fly me to the moon.... 
We can finish each others sentences, talk for hours, or make love for days....
and we may even have an argument...........but....we will know that at the end
of the day...we love each other..
and as we grow old together, we will always hold hands as we watch the sunset.....
