What does this mean in the context of any relationship?
Is it that they honestly think that you're better than them?
Are they just intimidated by your ways?
Are they just not happy with themselves?
Or, is it just a complete cop out?
What are your thoughts?

I guess, in what department is one "too good"for the other? finances,looks,contribution to the home, personality, all-around?
i would 'think' if someone thought they were "too good" for a person,they shouldn't be with them.

Okay, honestly.
We have all met the person who walks around like they are god or thing so fuking highly of "them" that all around in thier eyes is weak. These people are just so full of crap, lost in who they are and confused it is beyond scarey, shit they even themself in third person.
In a relationship if those words come up its time to move on. They have crossed the line and nothing about mental abuse will follow. Everything you here will be why don't you this or that. I have yet found anybody who just becomes this, its a part of them wether its to hide insecurity, fear or whatever but it has always been there.
This is a part of the whole, look at me attitude and having to always be the center of attention.

I'd be a fool to think I was on the same level as a woman-beating, manipulative, lying, cheating piece of crap like that.

1. I tend to keep him away from stairs when he's drunk, so I don't know.
