I talked to my son last night in Ohio and he said it was suppose to get up to 0 today. He is ready to get his bathing suit out and go lay in the sun with the heat wave they are going to have. .

That's almost sunbathing weather. It's 11* here. I can't muster any sympathy.
Plus, you and your sweetie have ways of getting warm...so  how cold could you really be?

Truth be told I actually like this weather, last night was in the mid 30's and will be in the mid 60's today.
Although I might argue that I get colder than some of you up north because it does get down to the lower 20's sometimes over night and I have NO heat.
OK a couple little mobile oil filled space radiators that I almost never run, I just buddle up with coats.
I just checked the temp in my house and its 57 degress.
What is the inside temp CiW?

-9 at dawn today, but a balmy 72 with my fireplace running (heats the whole house).
You will get as much sympathy from me as the fruitcakes fishing behind the house this very minute. It is a whopping 7 degrees right now and they must be freezing their arses off...

CiW since you live in a big house that is too large to heat ,heat one room where you spend most of your time.

Nice thought....but it doesn't work that way with hot water heat.
I'll just wait patiently for a nice warm man to show up and heat things up.
