Well...it depends on what you are after. If you are looking for great on-line international community to make friends and communicate , you'll have lots of fun here. On the other hand , if you hope it's some kind of "no-cost sex service" - then you are out of luck , pal

That brings up a question. Where do you socialize to meet people once you're too old to meet them in high school or college? For people my age (32), there aren't a lot of places. I'm not in school; graduated from college 8 years ago. I don't attend church because I don't beleive in the silly superstition they are dedicated to. I don't go to work every day because I am self-employed as a graphic artist. I never, ever drink alcohol so I do not go to bars. My friends I hang out with have all given up and refuse to even talk to women. One of them even had "I Am Alone" tattooed on his wrist because women have treated him so bad. So they're no help.
Where does one "Go socialize in the real world" to meet people of the opposite sex?

^ that's becoming an increasingly difficult problem in our society. when i was single, my therapist and i had to TRY and think of places I could meet people. i didn't really even have to go out of my way to meet my boyfriend, my friend introduced us. with the importance of the internet in our society, it is indeed very difficult to go out and meet new people....i wonder how one who is not in school or who does not attend many social functions would alleviate that?

you surely have other interests than just graphic design (?)...
to meet people you could try joining a cycling club....or go canouing....go camping....a book club...voluntary community work.....
anywhere that you think like-minded people may be..................

I have zero luck meeting people in 'real life' and I am a college student and I do go to work everyday and do attend church! I've done some volunteer work and taken a few classes outside of my college courses.
It's not as much a matter of where you meet people but more about the 'vibe' you send out. I have a strong (*chuckle*) personality and can be intimidating...and I can also be a total wall flower!

Well, I hear there is a big gathering going to take place southwest of Indy. That is a good way to meet people too.
What about a charity organization? You live in Ft Wayne I imagine they have lots of places that could use help.

Opportunities are endless with volunteering.
You can meet women at the grocery or laundromat, library, museums, art shows.

The laundromat is good, because even if the women give you the brushoff, you can often find some dirty panties to steal and take home to sniff.

The older you get, the harder it seems to be to meet any nice men (or women if you're a man). I live out in the country between two small towns. The only single men here are widowers around 70-80 yrs old! I also work a lot of hours and when I get home, the last thing I want to do is go out and look for men!! LOL So I come in here.
