Flowers are nice too.
The BEST is a card that has either been hand written, or picked out with lots of thought. (Like the Christmas card I got with my necklace, he went to 3 different Hallmarks before he found "just the right one")

I'm with LGQ on this one... neither.
I am much more demanding...  I wan't something home-made... poetry, a song, a hand-made card... something you've touched and put some thought into. I too would do the same if my other were like minded.

Depends if the lady watches her weight or not.... a box of chocs when youre on a diet.. can mean two things.. 1) it'll spoil her diet,  and 2).. she'd be mad that you didn't know that she was on a diet!  lol
For me, a boquet of Lillies is always a romantic and beatuful thing to recieve, especially as nower days the roses are force grown and dont smell like they used to.

I don't even want a card or anything like that. I want something I can use. Jeez why would you get me something if I can't use it? Cos you "thought of me"? Oh, wow, you thought of me, that's good, now I have this thing that I can't do anything with. Dan got me a 200 dollar ring when we were sophomores for Valentine's Day and at the time I thought it was sooooo sweet but awhile later I was like "Yano, we're gonna break up, and I'm not gonna be able to wear this anymore. What was the point?" And he was like ... "It symbolises my love for you". And I said ..."oh, come on, that is so gross."

yeah I knowq it's off topic . I wish I HAD someone for valentines day . I would buy her a teddy bear with a basket . he has a ballon in it that says " happy valentines day " She would also find fake roses . ( real ones just die and wilt )

im agreeing to the teddy bear N the basket or a live plant.. with a mushy card.. i have a teddy bear from last year and yes the year before but i want the BE mine part to be from someone thats gonna still be here year after year after year........ Sigh.. Sweet N Louisiana

Flowers are nice, but I have yellow roses right outside my door that are blooming right now! How could it get any better?
