So, I just came back from couple-dom and I feel the need to approach my single life in a new way. I hold no grudges toward the ex nor is the purpose of this thread to start a pity party either.
I want to ask everyone...what do YOU do after a relationship ends?
One of the first things I did, was to go back to my old screen name because I feel much closer to this gal, and she's much more who I really am. Allow me to introduce myself to those here who don't know me. You'll probably be seeing me hanging out here and in the blogs a lot more often now.

I know...good for you!!! I would take the thing to a mailboxes, etc or somewhere like that...let them pack it and mail it...then I'd send him the shipping bill!!! Or, I'd just keep it as a momento

When my marriage ended..know its not quite the same.....but I got myself a new hair stle.. bought new clothes..and went to places I'd always wanted to go before... new beginning new me.
See it as a new beginning and not an end

How coincidental that we seem to be in the same place right now, Annie!
I've been trying to keep myself occupied. I throw myself into all my interests, and some new ones. I take up every invitation offered to me...even if I'm not wild about going! My mom and best gal pal also help too. Yes, they listen to what I have to say, but they don't allow wallowing!
BTW: I did mail a package to my recently departed SO...mind you, he only lives 2 towns over yet the United States Postal Service managed to LOSE the box!!! What are the chances?!?! 
Edited to add: Yes! Change your hair!! I do that too. Although my current pics are less than one week old, I've already gotten a haircut!

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you guys, but I am so totally tickled to see you back here!
As for the guitar, I'm sure you know who I'd suggest that you use to ship it... 
Now, as to the relationship and how to deal with it...new hairstyle, for sure - just wash that man right outta your hair! You don't need a new attitude, you've got all the 'tude you need! And just remember, we're gonna have sunny weather here, mid 70's temps if you need a change of scenery...a few more weeks and we'll have the orange blossom thing going too. It is absolutely impossible to feel down with all the heady aromas of springtime in the desert around you - it's energizer bunny time here...

oh Heaven...that sounds so good, and to head off to a place where I know there are people who love me is even better. However...its tax season so it would have to be after April 15th.
