Why do women say they want a sensitive man ?...and then they hurt them ?

Why do women say that they want a man who is sensitive, but do not understand that someone who is gentle and thoughtful can also get hurt very easy when his feeling are not returned or betrayed by the one he trusts ?...and also, being sensitive thus not mean being weak. It’s just a way how someone relates with others and his perception of the distinction between right and wrong, his responsibility to someone he cares about and harm that he can cause to others.Has nothing to do with acting like a wimp in need of attention who just wants a someone to unload the responsibility for himself on her.
And why, when a woman meets a man and thinks that he is the one she has been searching for...why, will she still play games with him, like with all the other man ?

It really depends on the woman. You two must just meet the wrong ones. Quit hanging out in bars and strip joints and maybe you'll find the nicer ones. JMO of course.

Maybe because Alaska has the highest male to female ratio of any state in the country.

I don't think it's the women that are insensitive. If I found a sensitive man, I would never hurt him intentionally with games. It's all in how you perceive the situation. Sounds like you have been hurt. But, from reading your posts, can't really say that you fall into the "sensitive man" category.

Well, I’m very sensitive and it’s easy for a woman to hurt me…because I don’t show it does not mean that I’m thick- skinned.

Actually, you come here about every few weeks and act like such a dumb ass that everyone feels like throwing tomatoes (or insults) at you. I'm guessing you have VERY thick skin - why else wouldn't you get the hint? If you were "sensitive" you would get that your posts make most normal people's skin crawl - and that your insensitivity toward women (in general) has become your calling card here.

Yep, I'm sorry too. But sometimes we end up getting exactly what we're asking for, whether we admit it or not. Well I can’t help it, I don’t commit lightly to anything and don’t expose my Achilles’ heel to just anyone…it takes time to gain my trust. Unfortunately women this days have no time for romance. It’s all sex, money and…I WANT ALL OF IT NOW !

Well typed, Cal!! If your actions show as little regard for women as your postings, it's a wonder you can get a woman to get close enough to hurt you (romantically, of course). Try showing some respect for women...we're people just like men only softer and less hairy (well, most of us)

All men feel pain, just not all of them cry about it when it happens. A heart break feels no different from one person to the next. The difference is how they allow it to effect them.
Theres lines and all. Learn to color with in them.

Trouble is that romance is usually all about form rather than substance. I don't know that we women who have no time for romance are only interested in money or sex...a lot of us feel a need for friendship, and how can you form a friendship with someone who'll never let his real self show? Men who hide behind the tough guy facade demand an awful lot...you make us women jump through hoops just on faith that you're not really the jerk that you seem to be, especially when experience has taught us that we can get burned really badly ourselves for making that leap of faith.
Come to think of it, Mike and Pete have more than a little in common....

Nobody on this earth is incapable of being hurt. The ones who hurt others the most are usually the ones who are hurting the most...that's when all of us lash out, when we're hurting. Sometimes it works out though, when we can learn something in the process and maybe avoid it the next time.
