go for the women that will sleep with anyone at any time, or that are out to use them and throw them away and only looking for sex. Guess you could sum it up by saying loose women or one that use and them and then throw them away? These decent men meet women who they are attracted to and tells them that but will not act on it they instead go after the users and cheaters that are out there? very confused on this would just like some insite as still trying to understand, then when you ask them they say dont know what they want but will talk to other women bring them home and sleep with them....

I have a really good friend. He pulled me aside and said, "the secret to happiness is keeping your pecker in one place" Its stayed with me ever since. Words to live by, even if crude.

ok maybe i need to reword that, from my experiences i seem to find the ones that say one thing and total opposite when you get to know them. This person on the other hand is not that way its just been recently that this is happening been friends but have an attraction to one another but he has been burnt bad by women ok i can understand that and he tells me he has to find himself before he can commit to anyone has nothing to do with me and these women he is meeting is just for sex. He told a mutal friend that he would never use me that way and that is why he turns to these other women but cares for me just not sure what he wants meaning if he wants to try and give his heart again as afraid its going to get broke and i truely think this last women really took him for a mind game and he wants revenge and dont want to use me for this purpose but dont know guess just trying to figure it out thats all...

It sounds like he is just not ready for a commitment. He most likely will not find happiness with these women...you don't want him when he is in this frame of mind anyway...I have dated men who are in all points in their lives...many are simply out for sex, a good time, whatever...many have gotten that out of their systems. You want the later if you want a relationship...those other guys are not "relationship" minded. Look for someone who is through with that or be patient...JMO

it seems that every time i read a post here i get the impression that the gals have no freaking idea what a red flag means! a red flag infuriates the bull! the bull will nail you to the fence and go looking for another red flag. to use the words most and decent in the same sentence is called a misnomer. most men are not decent just as most women are not decent. this is a game dammit! from cradle to grave it is a game. should anyone get the chace to meet another who will not play games, suck it up! give up the games! try going one on one! see if your mind can compete on level ground! i am alone simply because of games. i will not compromise unless i am having fun. serious or fun, its that easy. huntin or fishin! its that easy. we be jammin

Your profile says your marital status is: Separated.
It could be he is attracted to you but doesn't want to go any further than friends until you are totally unattached.  It has happened more than once or a thousand times that people work things out and the divorce never materializes. This could be a method of him keeping from getting hurt once again.
Just a thought.

Okay, to move this thread back on topic a bit, it is pretty simple really. Men like sex, even the "decent" ones. If we are not in a relationship, then that need is not being met. So, a lot of guys will have sex, with someone that they find to be physically attractive, while they look for a relationship.
BTW, a "decent" guy, doesn't use women who are "loose" and "then throw them away". He may have a casual sexual relationship with them, but as long both are honest about what is going on and both are consenting adults, I don't see how anyone has been used.

Maybe he's telling you exactly like it is? I've found that for the most part, men are quite basic....if you ask them a question, they will give you an honest answer without thinking you are going to anyalyze it. Be a "decent" woman and take him for his word.
