My friends don't need my defense because they are very capable of holding their own. But I will let them know I have their back. MUMS 
Ill hold my own and yours and hers and his if ever the need. And its not so much people then ideas of what their point or principle maybe. Ya cant hold the view that its a change gang, or a following. Youre missing the point. Its like minds speaking for or against. When all you think is a pack, you limit yourself. This is where you learn of someone. Who they are, morals, beleafs, and yep even their issues.
Not only your backs, cause your my friends. But heart too. We didnt say hello to say good bye.

why?? because I had nothing to say that required a private email.. and I was saying something to several people here.. and as such.. what i had to say was part of a public forum discussion...
and those hello..goodbye words are fine... but what do they have to do with a public forum where everyones opinion and thoughts are welcome..and open to discussion... you (pl) who defended "a friend..." took it to "private..." attack the post not the poster is the golden rule...

...It was about the posts and became personal, when the poster specifically called out names... much like you did with your first post this morning. But, unlike Capo, you had nothing... Thus, at least for you, your post statement remains hypocritical.
...Now, I don't mind bantering with you GH, but some folks take it a bit more personal. With you, I have learned to copy my response to notepad and able to save repetitious typing by pasting about 4 times... before you finally get it.

I have lots of friends here, and once in awhile I slip up and get nasty. But my Mom taught me "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." So I really try not to.
I agree with GH  on Attack the post, not the poster.
That should go for oldies and newbies.
It's hard to stop once first blood is drawn. People WILL stand by their friends. They should.If their friend is in the wrong, send them an email and talk to them about it. That would be the decent thing to do.
And Burns-you are too a decent man. You have morals...that's what this thread is all about!

us newbies.....still have a lot to learn, in the forums....
but my question is.....
when it comes to an opinion, is anybody wrong?
everyone has their feelings on any subject. It doesnt make them right or wrong, just differing. I dont always, but I try to remain open minded to all opinions, respecting the posters right to their belief and opinion.

Some will post something you know isn't "correct?", and if certain people say something "nicely", the chit starts flying. Not everyone does it.
For instance, you could decently come on here (cause you're a decent man!) OT!and say the grass is blue.
Some might jokingly say where do you live, Kentucky?
Someone else may say NO IT IS NOT, and argue til the cows come home....sometime them cows are over the hill for days!

Actually, 3.8% of the cases can't really be related back to population because they may be multiple reportings by the same man of that age. To tell the truth, I did the math based on the total number of cases reported and it worked out to just about 15 cases reported for SG's age group over a period of nearly 3 years (2005 thru 3rd quarter 2007). That still doesn't mean of course that they were all different men.
I'd have to agree that based on those stats, his chances of ending up with gonorrhea are vanishingly small.
P.S. my first correspondence with SG was a debate, but I certainly consider him to be a decent man (trying desperately to get back on topic) and a friend.

when it comes to an opinion, is anybody wrong? They can be. If the opinion was based upon incorrect information/data or if the opinion was formulated illogically it, and therefore the poster, would be wrong.
