.So far and for most of us, they have not... that committment one seems to be rather elusive for all of us here that are single.
not really Im pretty sure there are a few on here that are committed ..just out on a day pass

I'm not sure that any sex is appropriate in the early stages of a relationship.
I'm of the mind that is why so many relationships fail these days. It's because people jump in with both feet before they really know or even like one another.
So back to Burns' definition, I think like should come first, then feelings of passion, the commitment, then intimacy. But of course a lot of intimacy can come before. It depends on the definition.

Well it seems the representatives for the MD community have spoken. I liken the comments very much to some bikers that I know and their sense of brotherhood. It works like this...even if a brother is wrong never admonish him in public but defend him before the eyes of outsiders. Then behind closed doors let him know what you truly feel. I find it interesting that SensualGemini was given a "free pass" on all comments but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Just as in everyday life you and I meet people that we just don't like. It's no different here. I have no problem admiting when I'm wrong if I truly feel that I am. On the other hand if I feel I'm right then I could care less about what the majority thinks. The majority may rule but it doesn't make them right. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all the people all the time. Such is life.

I choose to defend my friends when I feel they are right I also defend them when I feel they've come under an undeserved attack.
My friends don't need my defense because they are very capable of holding their own. But I will let them know I have their back.
Maye you missed my post about us being kind of a family here. Many of us have been here a while and have formed close friendships. Many of us have met in person or plan too.
