But being me Im gonna say something.. 
I think Sen hit the nail on the head .. you cannot stand to be told you were wrong about something ...spending so much time trying to make everything perfect and then when a flaw is noticed getting nasty about it... instead of realizing what a fool you seem in doing so ....you shift blame so it is someone else's fault I know when I have been wrong before or mistaken someones post I have apologized..

you sidestepped the fact you attacked WITHOUT provocation and called foul where none was, to justify your nastiness.. and then got pissy when others questioned your actions.. so um yeah I TOTALLY understand you know  and Im sure so do a lot of others

So, can we assume that Blues and Sen are NOT one of those matches made in heaven?
Going back to the OP then..... 
In what way could someone who considers it right to use people based on whether or not he'd be interested in a 'real' relationship be considered to be a decent person? Personally I wouldn't much care what he thought, if I were aware that he can view people that way, I don't think it would ever get anywhere near the point where I'd be worried about catching any STD's from him.

Okay Heaven I got the hint.
as to the topic of this thread ... if a person man or womans sole intent is to hit and run then and they do not let the other person know this, the question of decency arises but if the issue has been discussed and they both know how they stand in the relationship then to me at least the guy or girl is doing the decent thing and not leading the other one on... but sadly even tho such thing can be discussed and agreed upon usually one or the other partner forgets that and then accuses the other of lying when in fact they are the ones breaking the agreement and then on the other hand I can see when after a sexual encounter where one or the other can fall hard for the the other or in the inverse be totally put off .. sex IS a big part of a lasting relationship and when a couple does not mesh sexually things can go south rather quickly

...Actually, I have not heard of a case of Gonorrhea in years, although it is said to often co-exist with Chlamydia patients. There was a small Syphilis outbreak a couple years ago, but the County clamped down on that one really quick.
...Besides the silent STD's, we are receiving a lot of renewed health issues from the Illegals, as they are not tested as mandated for legal Immigrants. Drug resistant TB is a growing problem and Leprosy from Central America and south, although most of the Lepers make it to Houston for free treatment and why they are here.

Maybe these statistics aren't pertinent to those who make comments for the sake of making a comment whether accurate or not, but to each of the 20,168 people infected with Gonorrhea your comments would be impertinent. Yes, it's treatable IF you know you have it. Untreated it goes undetected and moves to other parts of the body where it is not so easily detected such as in arthritis or bacteremia (bacteria in the blood, sepsis) ever heard of septic shock?
But...after all I am the Newbie and I must remember that some on MD are convinced that they know absolutely everything and are just waiting for their Nobel Prizes.

As Mom said, decent is a description different to each of us.
Maybe the men mentioned by the OP AREN'T all that decent.
Maybe some of the women allegedly decent men "go after" aren't all that bad.
After all....most wouldn't follow him home to see if he takes a female there, then peek through the curtains to see if they "do it."
If someone any one of us is attracted to, is not attracted to us-they just aren't.

I think there are alot of decent men. There is so much miscommunication and misunderstandings in all realtionships, that it is very easy to say that there aren't any decent ones left. Perhaps at times, we all overreact to situations based on old hurts and not so much on a current situation. A knee jerk reaction..
