So, in my first week of "internet dating"...

- posted profile on 4 "big" sites
- received 12 emails within 12 hours from gorgeous young women who had instantly fallen in love with me at first glance. Ego soared.
- noticed all of them wanted me to visit another site "because communication there is easier". Ego went back to normal.
- write to ~24 women (I type fast) on various sites
- heard from zero
- cruised Craig's List while watching "Premonition". Wrote to a half-dozen women.
- realized why some of them didn't post pictures
- posted a profile on CL (it's free)
- received one-sentence email from woman saying "I M NEAR U - R U FREE 2NITE?" Decided language barrier was too much to overcome.
- received email from woman who was 55. Must have missed that whole "would like to start a family" part of my post.
- later thought damn, I should have saved "Premonition" because it would be a good date video

Just so you know, there are many wonderful women on the net, but don't hold your breath thinking they live down the street, or even in the same city, let alone the same state.
If you accept this fact, your disappointment level will go down.

In the first weeks of being on the sites you'll get the most action, mostly from scamers and those who are on the sites looking for the perfect ( unrealistic) person who is far out of their league...
so make the most of your newness, when the reality of it sets in and you actually go and meet some of those people you will be surely surprised.

lol ive met one single girl on craigslist and that was from an ad that i had posted looking for a friend to talk to
she was certainly not what i was looking for in anyway
everytime ive tried to reply to a girls ad, its been a spam or a bot. seems like the best bet is to look for dates in the housing wanted section lol
